Re: English guide for the original Kakyusei

@Blue Lemma LOL. Well if you've ever got a question about some part of the game feel free to ask me. @F.I.A Yeah I just found out about the Pia Carrot translation a couple weeks ago. That's how long that ripple took to get to me. Now and then in bishojo gaming circles, tho, you get someone asking, &...

Re: English guide for the original Kakyusei

Thanks for the reply, Blue. Maybe I'll continue the project but at a low priority since I'm still not sensing much interest.

English guide for the original Kakyusei

Well I've been writing one . It's a classic ren'ai adventure game, a fairly complex and challenging one, and I was thinking what a shame it is that there has never been so far as I know even a partial attempt to translate it or assist native speakers with playing the game. But I dunno, is there inte...

Re: Pia Carrot PC-FX translation done

^ Yep, pretty much. I only played the first one briefly, but I remember it being an actual dating sim in which you build stats and plan your daily activities in pursuit of a girl(s) out of a given selection. PC-FX had a lot of games like that. It's neat that some people are translating them. Ok, one...

That object is a photograph, which can be found by climbing down from the window when you are walking along the windowsill.

Re: Best anime and game couple

Ugh, not Laharl and Flonne (><) I'd rather see either of them pair up with a prinny than with each other. I guess on the plus side, Flonne is prob'ly the only one who could ever put up with him. For a game couple, how about good ol' Sakura and Ogami from Sakura Taisen? Their ending in the first game...

The highest grade possible if you only train one idol is a C.

Re: Things which are annoying for fans...

"Adaptation displacement" -- Thanks for that term. It definitely applies to game->anime adaptions bigtime. Of course it's much more widespread with book->movie adaptions. I think the reasons for both are apparent. It takes much less time to watch a movie than to read a book. Busy people ch...

Re: Idolcraft (RPG Maker XP)

^ Eheeheehee. But seriously, the game becomes broken if you enable that cheat. I suppose I can drop a few obscure hints which may or may not lead you somewhere. She's about 5 feet tall. She is known for having a local accent. Very few national celebrities are from the prefecture she is from--at leas...

Counter Arts: Yeah, I'm thinking about doing a commercial game next. Jinx: The recycle shop is simply where you can go to buy back things from the studio that you may have pawned off. Like the pictures on the wall. (But not things from the girls' dorm rooms) For the Australian model You need to have...

Re: Idolcraft (RPG Maker XP)

Glad you guys like it. A big thanks for reporting that glitch. Regarding Nanako, she goes to her house when she skips. If you recruited her after her boss at the diner started sending her home another day each week, you might have received a hint where her house is--it's not far from the diner. To g...
