Re: Signed and Sealed with a Kiss (Romance/Comedy) (G/BxB)

This sounds and looks neat. Remind me a bit of Absolute Boyfriend.

I'm most interested in the bad boy and the flirt, mostly.

The art looks good and I like the setup. I'll deiniftely keep an eye out for this.

Re: What got you into making visual novels?

No one has told precisely the kind of story I'd like to experience.

Also, I've been wowed by the art of several VN's but disappointed in the quality of the writing and I'm sure I can do better.

Re: Why so few yuri games compared to BL game?

Hm. No clue. I'd imagine since it all started with JVN's, and JVN's usually had male protagonist/dating, as a medium it just continued with a large head start and Yuri games have some catching up to do?

A girl I knew in a fiction workshop class did a story set in Japan, and did, "Japanese dialogue" followed by a translation of said dialogue in italics. It didn't go over well. The novelty of being able to see romanji wore off very quickly. I was taking a Japanese class and could barely fol...

Re: Weaving a mystery

When it comes to splitting the mystery between routes, depending on what the mystery is, you could have the characters unearth different information and have it lead them to different possible conclusions. The trick of it to me, would be making the mystery flexible enough to allow for multiple inter...

Your art is beautiful! I love the 5th pic in particular.

I'm sure someone is going to snap you right up for their project. Also your English is pretty good so far as I can see!

Re: Owl's Ethnic Diversity Resource Thread

Nice post! I've always thought that making each character have a different hairstyle/look is a good way of separating them visually, and by texture is another thing to consider. When it comes to worldbuilding, hair type is something to consider. If people come from different, far flung regions of th...

Re: This, My Soul [GxB][Sci Fi][Romance][Drama][Nano17][DEMO

Looks neat! Reminds me a bit of Absolute Boyfriend. Will download the demo ASAP! Of course, that was a foregone conclusion after enjoying Queen's Crown and supporting it on Kickstarter! Also, first thought at the title and after reading the description was, "Does this unit have a soul?" ^_^

Re: How to write a VN based off Mythology/Folklore/Fairytale

You might as well have asked, "How do I tell a story?" In general if you want to have your VN tie into a certain myth, you need to draw on the same influences. If you were retelling a Jesus Christ story, you would bring in some of the similar elements; the immaculate conception/some kind o...

Re: How long should a CG be on screen?

I'm going to say something incredibly specific and helpful like, "As long as the key moment lasts." Can't remember the name of the VN, but it was this incredibly frustrating one where a writer goes to a cabin in the woods to work on their more... sensual scenes. This VN had this really ann...

Re: The Crossroads [Modern, Romance GxB, Supernatural][NaNo1

Alright, played both routes and liked it a lot! I loved the character sprites and the backgrounds, though few, were pleasant to look at. I especially liked the character customization, it was a nice touch, though it's a shame only one option appears in the gallery. I also liked how many options ther...

Re: choosing scenes for CGs

Character introductions and anything epic.

Not being an artist, my ambition definitely exceeds my wallet in this regard, so I'll have to settle for the truly epic moments requiring illustration as opposed to epic moments of the general variety.
