Re: Interactive drama/novel submission

Hmm... Despite the different style, I think this qualifies as an authentic visual novel. The "animation" and branching seem very impressive. Would you mind if we uploaded it to the Ren Ai Archives ? It's a website where we keep original english language VNs and similar, so that they won't ...

Re: The Ren'Ai Archives (renai.us) all-in-one thread

Marry Me, Misato! probably fits into the parody genre too.
Corrected.

Re: The Ren'Ai Archives (renai.us) all-in-one thread

Higurashi has been added to the archives and we now have officially FIVE games in the parody section. I think the new section deserves its place, not only because of the quantity of the games, but also because they follow some special rules of their own ( they can circumvent a lot of copywright prob...

Re: The Ren'Ai Archives (renai.us) all-in-one thread

Hmm... From what I've seen they both seem like valid exemples. They're parodies so I think they can get away with a lot in the copyright department, and there's also a precedent with the Kana fanfic ( fangame? ) but I'm still not completely assured, especially with "silliness" since it use...

Re: Sailor Moon Dating Simulator 3

Umm, really sorry for the delay, but as I've mentioned all over the forum by now, I've been busy lately. Can we host your games in the archive like the other two? (oh, and congratulations on finishing yet another game  )

Re: Fatal Hearts

*sigh* Busy, busy... Haven't logged on for what feels like decades. Didn't even realize that Fatal Hearts full version was already out until just a while ago... I had the pleasure of beta-testing the game (and I only hope my comment were actually helpful. :? ) and I liked it a lot. I'll write a full...

Re: A Missing Memoir

Hmm... Great game. Expect one of my drawling reviews soon ( err... When I have more time :? ) and congratulations for an excellent second project.
May we host the new version of Missing Memoir at the RAA? :D

Re: Game review blog feedback

This is just my personal opinion but sometimes I feel the reviews aren't very credible because it's written by community members. It's something like a Nintendo employee's review on Nintendo Wii will hold little weight How about changing the background to something non-plain-white, as well as inser...

Game review blog feedback

LFVNR-Lemmasoft Forums Visual Novel Reviews Ok, I think that after 20 game synopses and reviews it's high time to get some feedback on what we're doing. For the last four months reviwers have posted reviews and synopses of different games in a certain weblog, which can be seen here: http://visualno...

Re: Poll: what settings appeal most to you?

Although I agree with monele that execution is much more imporant than the setting, I must confess a certain predilection for the 19th Century in general (not nescessarily Victorian or American, 19th century France, Germany, Japan, China and India were also very characteristic, and interesting ). I ...

Accepted. I'll welcome anyone willing to step up. I don't know if I should feel flattered or downcast... (Just a joke. Anyone can see that there are better possible candidates than me. But being given this post, even if temporarily is an honor, and I promise I'll try my best.) Thanks, Mr. E. ...

Re: The Ren'Ai Archives (renai.us) all-in-one thread

After some deliberating I've decided to volunteer for... Umm, "temporary editor" of the RAA. It will distract me a bit from my game, but hopefully nothing I won't be able to manage. I owe this community, and the archives, at least this. I'd like to highlight the "temporary", sinc...

Ah well... Since Ignosco is busy I might as well start doing some work *grumbles* But I actually liked writting this review very much! :D It's a River Trap review (another old game from ATP... I'll change next time, ok?) and I'm afraid it's a little long. *walks away with considerably less gu...

Re: Builders' Mind

Ah well... After much loafing around and general putting-things-off-for-tomorrow I am finally reviewing Builder's mind, an interesting little game that has a very unique style and story. :P First the story, and I must admit that it's a very interesting one. The pacing, which I nitpicked in The Nette...
