Re: WIP Shugojin! GxB [DEMO now available]

The download won't work for me... O.o It processes my request, then nothing. EDIT: Now it does! I'll edit my posts with comments when I'm done. =) EDIT EDIT: That was definitely a fun play! XD The art was nice to look at and the concept seems really interesting. The end made me "wtf?!" and...

Re: Idol Crush v1.1

:) It was good for your first game. I suck at visual novels, so when I kept getting the bad endings, I replayed anyway. xD I liked Jun the best, then Kan, then Ichiro. The scenes wherever Miyuki was in danger came as a surprise, so that was awesome. I awww'd at the scene near the pool with Jun. Also...

Can't check script/build distributions? [SOLVED]

I have the newest version of Ren'py and can make projects and edit them just fine. However, when I click build distributions or lint, the window closes and nothing pops up. It's not in my script because this happens with the demo game too. I suspect that it may be because I downloaded Ren'py twice, ...

Re: Which is more important in a Visual Novel to you?

The story. While the art is very important and a main factor in my a decision to pick up a game, I can get used to shoddily drawn sprites and backgrounds. They always stay the same, for the most part. On the other hand, the story is what keeps everything interesting, not how much detail a sprite's e...

Re: Types of Choices You Like

I think variety would be good. Even though my inner fangirl gets frustrated when I can't pick the correct choices to lead to my favorite guy, it's worth it in the end. The choices are like aren't trivial (use ketchup or hotsauce) or obvious (Punch him in the face or hold his hands). Perhaps you can ...

Re: Importance of Main Characters for VNs?

I prefer developed characters. I see myself as a voice inside guiding them in the direction I want them to go to, or someone who controls their destiny, not my avatar. As for specialness, I think it really depends on the setting. In a world where angels coexist with humans in this realm, I wouldn't ...

Re: Do you prefer playing from a 1st person POV or 3rd perso

I agree with PrettieAngel's second paragraph above. Personally, I prefer playing visual novels in first person, but then again the only third person POV one I've read was Narcissu and Crescendo, I believe it's called. I got bored of those two, but it was because I didn't like the characters. I don't...

Re: RE: Alistair++ - New and extended!

I loved the game as well. Shiro was my favorite. =) I wish I saved throughout the game so I can play his route properly instead of searching through spoilers, though. T_T''

Re: KoKoRo - Pure White Love

:) Wow, the art looks soft and nice. That's a cute way to format the title too. xD

Isn't Kagami Kouhei the name of the guy in Yume Miru Kusuri? xD Ah well, I'm sure that was a coincidence. :)

Re: Writing from opposite gender's view

Dizzy, that was well said. :D In my opinion, yes, any game could be successful since the stereotypes for each gender are probably just a generalization. In other words, any gender can have any kind of personality. As I girl, I would take blowing up zombie heads than taking five hours to try a pair o...

What keeps you playing in a VN?

What the title says. :P Hopefully this could be useful for the game makers out there. For me, if the characters hold my interest, I'll definitely keep playing. That's probably the reason why I like Naruto, even if it isn't a VN. XD Another example of likeable characters would be the cast of Utawarer...

Actually I believe if you aren't making money from it it's fine, but the owners of Sailor Moon have the right to remove.

:D Imma gonna try out this game a bit later.
