Re: How do you write and organize your branching?

Just a note, Twine 1 is still available for download on the twinery.org site. It lacks some of the advantages of Twine 2, but it saves your files right on your desktop (directly into Dropbox, even, if you're compulsive about backing up). You always have them available, and you can export the Twine f...

Re: Apocrypha [adventure][romance][rpg][musical]

I really need to take a much closer look at the character profiles and so on, but at a cursory look, I can tell you right away I find this story very intriguing. Ancient settings are delightful and I love them. I've always found them interesting in books and such and I would love to see more games w...

Re: Of Ice & Snow [Drama] [Fantasy] [Romance]

1. I feel I don't know enough about the characters to judge them. I have more of an idea of their circumstances than their temperament. I do like the concept of the conflict between the two sisters, modernity vs. tradition. 2. My first thought was that this seemed like a portal fantasy and I'm wonde...

Re: Start up game team *Desperate for writers!*

It might be helpful if you edit out the "desperate for writers" part of the thread title. Right now it looks like you're looking to fill every position but writing.

Re: Writing, Editing, and Proofreading! (Small Projects Free

Can I ask what types of editing work you usually do? Primarily proofing for spelling and grammar, or also line editing for style, or plot/characterization editing?

Re: Wreath of Roses [Fantasy, Intrigue]

Adding as a new post in addition to editing, to make sure it doesn't get lost: The alpha version of Wreath of Roses can now be played through the Finally Finish Something Jam on itch.io. After the rating period is closed it will likely be locked for a short time to allow editing and improvements. Pl...

Hey, are you still available for commission? I have a text game that's in dire need of a logo made by someone with better skills than me. The current banner I'm using looks like this. PM me if you're available.

Re: Sacred Fire [RPG, historic fiction, romance, mystery, wa

Wow. There are so many interesting ideas packed into this game, I don't even know where to start. I love the idea of emotions affecting gameplay, for one. There was a mechanic a bit like that in Long Live the Queen and I just loved it.

Re: Wreath of Roses [Fantasy, Intrigue]

Wreath of Roses is an intrigue game set in a non-magic secondary world fantasy setting. In other words, is the setting a fictional world that is not based on any real places? Yes, exactly. A made-up kingdom, but filled with humans and no magic. If you think the story should put some emphasis on rom...

Re: Eternal Forest [Fantasy] [Raising Sim]

I have to say, your project looks really interesting. It reminds me a little or Cute Knight Kingdom. Usually I gravitate towards stories with fewer characters and more detail for each character, to be honest, but I like the feel of this project. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.

Re: Wreath of Roses [Fantasy, Intrigue]

Ah, I see what happened here. I seem to have not been clear enough in my original post, so I went and edited it. WOR is currently in late writing stages. It's close to being finished, but it's not done and no part of it is publicly posted anywhere.
