I finished the preliminary thumbnails for the first three cutscenes over Thanksgiving holiday. Now to return to completing the rest sprites.

The Parasol Festival is a good example of a visual novel with traditional art. The artist (Deji) has a screenshot on her tumblr with a method similar to what you're talking about. With watercolors to boot!

I agree with the limit being creating 10 threads daily. I just checked the General Discussion thread and the spambot just...ate the entire section. You have to go back six entire pages just to find the normal threads again.

As for a question, "What does VN stand for" sounds good to me.

Is it possible to have them listed in chronological order with links to their info pages? I think that might also be helpful.
