Show/Hide statement question
Hi, I'm having a bit of a small problem that I'm not wrapping myself around. I don't remember if I read the tutorial right, but it mentioned something about the "show" statement replacing the previous image with the current one; however, when I "show" a sprite on top of the other...

Re: Fantasia: Grand Finale (GXB, VN+RPG)
Crazy good! Long prologue. In the demo, will we encounter most of the systems that you have implemented in the game? It would be a good idea so that you can see if it works for people. :3

Re: Any idea for my project?
How you should make the novel is truthfully up to you since you're the creator. Some people will like it while it won't suit the taste of others. :D Natural way of things. But if you're worried, there's always the course of the sound novel, VNs that work through sound. A good example would be anythi...

I think I spot some prior "art"... http://gizmodo.com/350091/cheeseburger-in-a-can-is-both-the-best-and-worst-thing-ive-ever-seen *shudder* Oh gawd. That can't be good. Cheeseburger in a can. Bleh. PB&J in a can wouldn't be so bad except for the idea of all those preservatives in the ...

Re: The 'If' Statement
Is your "yes" in the IF statement the same "Yes" in the initiated variable? The problem could be with the capital letter. Remember: the code is CAP sensitive so "Yes" is not "yes", "yEs", or "yeS". "Yes" can only be "Yes"...

XD Yet another piece of news from me.
Introducing the Candwich, sandwich in a can. And it's the grounds for a lawsuit.

Re: Ren'Py 6.11.0 Pre-Released
It's working now for the Mac and I can see the openGL.txt now. Went through the tutorial and the Question game and nothing strange happened except for a mysterious crash before the "queue sound" section in the tutorial. The problem never appeared again though.

Well, these would be my personal top 10. 1. "Sora no Kakera (空の欠片; A Fragment of the Sky)" by Ayako Ikeda (Ending to Dennou Coil) 2. "Prism (プリズム)" by Ayako Ikeda (Opening to Dennou Coil) 3. "Shut Up and Explode" by Boom Boom Satellite (Opening to Xam'd: Lost Memories) ...

1. If you had a definite female protagonist (with her own not-customizable sprite and a personality) would you like her to: b) Have a name, but be able to change it if I want before starting the story. I like to have a default name so that I could choose it in case I can't come up with a name to ma...

Re: bracnching and remembering previous choice problem
I don't know if it's my place to answer your second question so excuse me ahead of time. The best example I can think of to help you understand the way your variables are working is this: I have hands but you have to choose either my left or my right. So my variable name would be "hands" (...

>: Me love you long time. <3 I love fairy tales and different versions of it. They always have such a kind but frightening flare about them. And I have to comment: this sounds like it would be quite the story and your artwork is just adorable. Has the right innocent, but mischievous, look about them...

1. How much of a completitionist are you? b) I try to get all the endings, but I don't bother to unlock it all. Typically, for both games and VNs, I get everything that I would like then just move on with my life. 2. What's the most important characteristic in a game? what makes you buy them? a) Th...

Re: Ren'Py 6.11.0 Pre-Released
Which version of Mac OS X are you using? Also, is it a PPC version, or an x86 one? I'm currently using Mac OSX version 10.6.4 Snow Leopard with an Intel Core 2 Duo, one of the more recent MacBook Pro. I got it some time last year during the colder seasons (forgot the month). I'm not sure what you m...

Re: Ren'Py 6.11.0 Pre-Released
There's already a problem for using it on a Mac. The program won't boot up, similar to how some WIP games have been acting up lately. The solution for the non-booting games is to put the games into a Ren'Py folder and boot it from there, but I don't think booting Ren'Py in a previous Ren'Py is what ...

@PyTom (and anyone about the system): Thanks for addressing some issues that I would have. Here's my answers to your question. - The base damage is the leading card. Much like war, one card will have a greater value than the other card. Thus, the card with the lesser value is the losing side. The b...
