Re: VN Poster

You're both right, it'd be messy. But what about featuring particularly impressive games on the Ren'py site in general? Not just monthly, but as an archive. Maybe have a "recommended games" section?

Re: VN Poster

Maybe we could do it seasonally? Such as, "Recommended titles of Winter 2012", Spring 2012, Summer 2012, ect. And, instead of just a poster, it could be a page on the main Ren'py website that has pictures and links to where the game can be bought or downloaded. Also maybe we should have a ...

Re: VN Poster

What would it be like though? Would the games be divided up like in the poster, or would it just be a list of popular EVN games?

Re: Be rejected by the love interest (Ending)?

There's no challenge if there's no way to get a bad end. A good game will make people think about their actions; it's not fun if you can't lose. :) (however like Papillion said, it can be frustrating if you over do it.) The most important things are to make sure your bad endings are relevant to the ...

Re: Looking for Sylph and Blade engines

Ren'py is indeed great, I really prefer to use it, but sometimes it's fun to mess with other programs too. :P

I wanted to try Sylph too, I wonder where it went... Neither were commercial, right? Or, am I mistaken?

Re: Just wondering (again)

It'll probably be easier for people to help you if instead of asking "just wondering" in your topic title, you post something that pertains to your question (such as in this thread "How do I change facial expressions on my character?") These questions are asked often, you should ...

Re: Looking for everyone to work on the largest LSF Project

Voice actors... That's going a bit far, isn't it? You should really focus on getting the core elements of the game down and get lines done before asking for voice actors to pitch in....

Re: The new renai.us/games.renpy.org support thread.

@statesman88: Was there explicit imagery, besides the text? We allow things that are R-rated, so the mention of such a scene wouldn't make it R-18 unless it was explicit (going into a lot of detail with a picture of what's going on). I haven't played the game myself, so I can't really judge...

@applegirl, keke-chan: Thank you, it's good to know this idea isn't stupid after all! xD I'm updating their looks as we speak, Clyde will have dog ears instead of those cat ears haha.

Thanks again for all the feedback. :)

Re: ACTA Bill

It's a lot like SOPA and PIPA, except this time it's international... Like they said in the video, it's not the artists that directly benefit from this bill, it's the middle men that handle all the money (from what I understand). How do they think they could possibly get away with it, though? Even i...

Re: establishing a Visual Novel circle/recruiting for a gal-

Hmm, do you have any examples of your writing, or games that you've worked on before? It'll be easier for people to want to join if they have examples of the kind of work they'll be doing with you. You should show artists/writers/ect what you'll be able to offer them in exchange for their work (unle...
