Re: Visual Novels on Other Systems?
iDevices also have KiraKira English and Higurashi English, somewhat well-known titles.

Re: Plot bunnies
I'm confident that the game I'm working on right now will be my top-choice "dream VN". I'm only like 10,000 words in, though v.v the plot's barely begun. The other idea I've had squirming around in my brain is a biopunk retelling of the Exodus story, set in a world where the populace is di...

Re: Newbie
It's not the first time. PyTom actually was changing names a while back on request, but for some reason, only three or so people asked. XD You have no idea how surprising that is to me. Given the population of high school girls here, and what I saw of high school girls back in the day, I'm complete...

Re: Share your attitude/characterisitic :)
I'm kinda like AuCN, I guess... Around people I'm comfortable with, I put up a super-optimistic front and play like a ditz. The ditz part puts some people off, especially when they discover I'm at the top of my class in the most difficult department at a highly-ranked university. They think it's con...

Aaaaaand this is why you shouldn't have caved in the first place, sake-bento. Welcome to your new job.

Re: LSF Spirit (or "Dude, where's my forum?")
Come on now. I'm not trying to support hate speech here, but not everyone who passionately disagrees with you is a jerk and/or loser to be entirely disregarded. I think you shouldn't disregard anyone. That's far more rude than trying to make a point. I think the better alternative would be to listen...

Re: Small Game Confession and Problems
In response to 2) Picking a few games for the highlight reel wouldn't be discriminating against those not chosen, would it? That's more of a "selective" group than an "exclusive" one. In response to 3) I got fixated on the genre idea in that line, which I think would still be a w...

Re: Small Game Confession and Problems
@lordcloudx: I wasn't trying to be disparaging at all, sorry if it came off that way. I was simply trying to point out that giving nods in a formal sense to games which the community found fun (yes, "popular" games) is a pretty common practice. It usually happens via review aggregates, but...

@lordcloudx: Of course you have to respect IP rights. No one's suggesting breaking any laws here by re-releasing anything against the wishes of the original authors. As to your other point, I understand not wanting to hurt feelings, but the fact of the matter is the bundle was proposed because peopl...

For some reason that made me think of the Halo character (Gravemind, was it?) that always spoke in iambic septameter couplets.

Re: Small Game Confession and Problems
It would be really nice for people like me who would probably like a lot of the games made here, but aren't impressed by any of the synopses. Being able to trust in the community to pick the best 8-10 small games of the quarter allows me to sample the EVN scene's best while only actively seeking out...

Official dub. And I introduced my little sister into the greater realm of geekhood, but I always had this stigma about anime... Ironically, it was a yaoi ("Gravitation") that first caught my attention. DISCLAIMER: To appreciate the irony one must know that I am a heterosexual male. I'm not...

Re: Random Blabbering Regarding Random Shenanigans.
Najica sounds like almost as much of a dream sister as my own. My little sister (well, she's not so little anymore, she's 20) always looked up to me, and was sweet all the time, and cooked, and used my steam account (figuratively... she played my games), and... The only bad thing she ever did was in...

Gotta deduct points for talking about corollaries without using the word "moreover". I don't think I've ever heard a mathematician go without it.

Re: LSF Spirit (or "Dude, where's my forum?")
I gotta say, this community is a lot better than the last VN community I was a part of. Those people *coughTLWikicough* had a lot of preconceived notions about things which they stuck to. Now, they weren't as bad as some of the other groups out there (Amaterasu TLs, 4chan), but they still had a nega...
