Why is this all I've ever wanted?

(If you add in Teddy Roosevelt, I would pay all the monies.)

Re: Last game you played?

It was probably Crusader Kings 2 with the Game of Thrones mod active. That is generally my go to game when I wanna burn through a few hours relatively quickly. Awesome! Isn't that ridiculously fun? Whenever I try to explain playing that mod to someone who doesn't know the series, I must sound insan...

Re: What do you want to see more of in EVNs?

I want more games that, if they must have relationship meters, focus more on the friendship side of things rather than the romantic. Personally, I think there's a lot more character depth to explore through platonic relationships. Also, having familial relationships would be interesting as well...

I think I'm becoming gluten intolerant, which is sad because I love pasta and hilarious because I might actually slam bread now.

Re: Would you read fanfiction of your own game/project?

Whenever this has happened, I end up wanting to kick myself for either not thinking of what said fan did or for not making what I wanted people to get out of my work more explicit. Hence, I have quite a few self-inflicted bruises directly related to fanfiction/fanart. ;)

Re: Re-writes

I generally rewrite my work (both personal and professional) about four or five times. That's quite a bit, especially from a scheduling standpoint, but it's more of a "let's take this idea and do something different" than "let's delete my previous attempts and start fresh". I mig...

Re: Romance VNs/Dating Sims are dubious manipulation games?

I've been thinking about this issue for a while, much longer than I've been interested in making games even. Whenever I played, say, a Bioware game or anything else with "relationship points", I felt like all you really had to do in said games was to be a doormat to whomever you'd like to ...

Re: Four ways to write a great story

I'm a seat-of-your-pants snowflake, if such a thing is possible. When I start with a story, there's generally just a theme or a specific ending that I want to work towards. I've even written twenty-page short stories on just an opening line that I thought was interesting. For visual novel and video ...

Re: Artist commissions~(please take a look~♥!)

Your prices are actually quite reasonable, especially for the quality of work you've shown. I dare say they could even be a bit higher, but that's up to you as the artist of course. :) One of my friends is looking for something a little outside of the typical anime box, so I'll send her a link to th...

Nathaniel, aka one of the biggest dorks to ever exist in fiction. I probably made him look cooler than he actually is. I would like to do a proper age chart (5,6,11,12,14 & 17) painted and everything, so these are some sketches on the way to doing that. I think my heart just broke out of my che...

Re: Shout For Joy, Share Your Happiness

Ah, young unrequited love. How it warms this crusty and black twenty-something year old's heart. Take it from someone who's been asked out by guys she barely knows, sometimes a smile is just a smile and that's still a beautiful thing.

Re: Word overuse

Everyone's added quite a few excellent points already, so I hope you don't mind if I throw some of my ideas into the mix. Word repetition is an issue with young writers but not the only thing you should be looking out for if you want to improve yourself. Vary your sentence length and structure! Look...
