Re: song critique requested
[temporary clear] EDIT: Actually, at first I got offended upon seeing the word "cover" since it usually refers (at least I thought so) to a vocal fandub or new performance of the entire song rather than "insert bgm here". Q-cah did just that, inserting instruments with a strange ...

Re: How to test run partial part of game - certain script on
The console was introduced in Ren'Py 6.15.0, in case you were using an older version. It looks like this: renpy_console.png EDIT: If shift+O still doesn't work, try hitting the backtick ` located to the left of 1 (as suggested on the announcement section of the download page; doesn't do anything for...

Re: Confuse with current.json in jedit zip file and Ren'Py s
Ah, sorry I didn't check the jedit zip. I saw it, then I extracted just jedit into a clean renpy sdk. I took a look at my previous sdk where I downloaded jedit directly from the launcher's "Select Editor" screen, and I noticed that its current.json is actually those two combined into one. ...

Re: Confuse with current.json in jedit zip file and Ren'Py s
The contents of the text editor is in a folder named "jedit". Just drop that folder into the renpy-6.15.5-sdk folder, and it should work. The only current.json I see near root is it in the folder named "update". If removed, then the launcher's update button disappears. I'm not su...

Re: INSERT TITLE HERE (Yes, this is the name of this OELVN)
I was referencing this, actually: COAT ► VEST ► SKIRT ► LONG SLEEVE ► NECKTIE ► BRA ► UNDERWEAR ► PROFIT! Of course there are some girls who prefer to do it this way... Re: Pick the forum members' brains for your game :)
Just a thought: as long as everybody sees a color consistently, then it's probably safe to give that color a name and agree that that color is that color.

Re: Problem with imagemap
Could you give me an example? Sure. Here are two random 200x100 rectangles: example_hotspots.png Assuming you had your coordinates exactly the way you want it to be, part of your code should look like this: hotspot (162,452,116,38) action Preference('display', 'window') # 277 - 162 + 1 = 116; 489 -...

Hotspots go by (x, y, width, height) rather than (x1, y1, x2, y2).

It's included by default. If you want to remove the "Auto" tab, then you can remove the textbutton from screen file_picker somewhere in the middle of screens.rpy: screen file_picker: [...] [...] # Delete or comment out this to remove the "Auto" tab from the save/load screen text...

If you haven't yet, click on "Build Distributions" once (no need to build) to add build information to the end of options.rpy, and you will find archive stuff too at the end of options.rpy.trueheartsdestiny wrote:Is there a code that would also prevent image files from showing up in the game folder as well?

Re: Where can I upload my game for free?
They have free accounts with monthly payments options to increase storage. I don't know much about file sharing traffic.
If you want or have to, split archives can be made (with 7zip, for example) and uploaded to someplace.

Re: Where can I upload my game for free?
Let's take a look at these three big boys: Is there a limit or maximum to how big my files can be? Files uploaded through the website (by pressing the upload button) have a 300 MB cap. In other words, each file you upload through the website must be 300 MB or less. * https://www.dropbox.com/help/5 O...
