Re: Fungus (open source IF / VN program)
It looks interesting, but I consider myself a "non programmer" and this whole visual scripting thing ironically looks way more complicated than Ren'py script. Do you really have to enter each line of dialogue in a separate container or am I just missing something? Yes, you'll need to crea...

Re: Fungus (open source IF / VN program)
I got to Fungus at the suggestion of netravelr on Unity thread. Found it easy to use. Like it a lot actually. Did 2 test projects with. They have a list of improvements (related to VNs) to come in future versions and requests somewhere at http://www.fungusgames.com if you want to check it out. @net...

Re: Creating a DynamicDisplayable that is a LiveComposite
Okay, so I've got it all figured out now. For prosperity, here is the final version: init python: def ShowBlush(characterName, haveBlush): if(haveBlush): return "Artwork/" + characterName + "/blush.png" else: return "blank.png" def create_character_composite(characterNa...

Re: Creating a DynamicDisplayable that is a LiveComposite
Looks like we're off to a good start, sadly ConditionSwitch won't work with function parameters but I'll try to get that working next.

Re: Creating a DynamicDisplayable that is a LiveComposite
Interesting function, I hope I can get it to work. Right now though it says that the number of variables called is different than what I provided, does it create any extra variables? The thing is, DynamicDisplayable needs a function that takes in two parameters, and I don't think I can change that. ...

Creating a DynamicDisplayable that is a LiveComp... [solved]
One of my least favorite things about working in RenPy is all the copy/pasting needed to be done in order to assemble characters dynamically. Since I'm only changing one or two things between each emotion, I should just create a function to get the base functionality down once, and then now have to ...

Re: A less boring Dating Sim Formula?
For Culina, we went a much more Personasque route where you develop relationships by choosing to spend time with that character. In addition to who you spend time with, where you are in other people's relationships matter as well. This is only in one of the relationships in Culina, but it's somethin...

Re: Beach Bounce [BxG][Slice of Life][Commercial]
Looks interesting, but I think the forums require a demo of some sort for a Kickstarter link to be allowed. May want to add that in :-P With that in mind, I'm a bit concerned due to the fact that you already have a number of Kickstarters for a number of different projects. Didn't you finish crowdfun...

Just so you know, there's a whole thread about using Unity here: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 57&t=22774
And Fungus, which I suggest using is discussed here: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 57&t=28505

Re: VN assets for Unity3d
I am curious how is Utage working for you? Is there any chance that you can compare it with the other Unity plugins available? Regarding your work on Culina, I read somewhere it started as a UTK project, is that true? It is interesting for me that UTK and Cryengine have higher quality rendering out...

Re: Dysfunctional Systems cancelled! Wait, what?
I'll be honest, this has scared me out of running my own KS having seen all the things that have gone wrong here :\ What hope do the rest of us have if this project died? They guys are suppose to be one of the best groups around :s Anyway: this is really disappointing news, since I'm a big fan of D...
