I'm concerned about using photography because the rights issues confuse me. If I take a photograph of the inside of a fast food restaurant, doesn't the fast food restaurant still have some claim over what I can do with it? From what understand, a restaurant is a business and have the rights to refu...

If I [carelessly] wrote a script on Linux that uses three totally different backgrounds called bg.PNG, BG.png and Bg.png Well... this is bad practice, even on a UNIX system. I'd assume most UNIX users would understand not to do this. I'm debating if I should simply make the system case-insensitive ...

Filename case sensitivity
I'm not sure if this has been addresed before, but I know that ren'py is supposed to be multi-platform, but there is something that breaks this platform portability and I think that maybe people should be notified about this and this issue is filename case-sensitivity. I noted this problem when I tr...

The new demo is much better with the new graphics. I really like the new Eileen and I think she does look happy enough. Now the only problem here is to match the styles of everything else with the new artwork style. When I look at it now, I actually think our current demo would be quite professional...

From what I understand, it is legal to photograph people in public view. If the photograph is targeted at specifically at a person, unless you are taking it in a way that compromises that persons privacy, then it is still legal to take the photograph. It is ofcourse safest to obtain permission first...

That's one purpose. A second is to convince people who are on the fence that Ren'Py is the software they want to use to make their VNs. I think a slick website may help with that, rather then the old-school website we have now. You got to be careful with that sometimes. Even if your website is slic...

For me, no, because I already have SciTE installed and prefer not to download it again and also, I'm guessing you're including a windows binary, which would not work for me. I would prefer you have a separate installer. But.... for other people, it might be useful since configuring the current distr...
