Re: I Need Your Critiques (Update: I'm Using Your Critiques)

Secret. Love. Interest. So sordid and scandalous! STOP THAT! You're actually making me start to consider the idea seriously. But...that's what I want! Secret romances always bring up the real estate of a project. I cleaned up Ian, relined and recolored him with a slight difference in pose. This gav...

Re: Help introducing to Visual Novel

I see what you mean, I guess it depends where you draw the border. I consider a VN to be a game where big enough focus is on the story (and stuff like character sprites and backgrounds). So even KN's fall under that definition (and PW is more of a KN, since the branches are often alternate dialogue ...

Re: Help introducing to Visual Novel

There's not an easy consensus on whether Phoenix Wright is a visual novel or not. I'd say no, not really, but it's close enough that people interested in it might also be interested in VNs and vice-versa. You're entitled to your opinion and I'm not saying you're wrong, but I disagree. PW contains a...

I'm gonna hav'ta agree. He's about as strong on dealing with romantic situations as a chocolate bar. ;) I don't even know what to say to that ^^''''''''' It just means we think you're sweet -- with a low melting point; little to no resistance to Heat. ;) Hohoho! I just had to jump in to laugh...

Re: Rasburn art and requests

Another image, but this time not for a request... I felt like trying out some other line widths to see if it fits better. So this is more of a test image.

Re: apple sketch requests [3 slots open]

I really like your pictures, they just look so nice and clean! :o It's impressive what you do with the colors to make the picture just "feel "right :D Sorani's pic with all the blue hues is just awesome. Well it's certainly not as awesome as Rasburn's XD but I had fun~ 20.png Much more fit...

Kirroha: I looked in your threads and found a charming lady. This is the result:

My lineart sucks, I think I should try to get better at that :( It's too prominent and thick/clunky.

FatUnicornGames: I'll see if I find some inspiration later :)

I felt like drawing something colorful, even though maybe I should spend time on adversity contest.

Code: Select all

I instinctively feel this should be replaced by

Code: Select all

if i > 0:
but haven't tried the code. Am I wrong?

Rasburn art and requests

Did I say requests? Well, all the cool kids are doing it, so if I do the same maybe I'll be motivated to draw something. I won't guarantee any level of quality, but free is good right  How to request Give a suggestion of what to draw. I might prefer amusing/creative requests, but it should be S...

Re: Adversity Comp - Visual Novel Writing Contest - Sept 201

It's nice to see I'm not the only one having problems :) ...oh wait, that makes me sound a bit like a jackass :? It's now in the second half of the month, and I only have some 4000 words. I'll probably have no feeling to rush-work if I'm far behind at the end of the month, but then I guess my story ...

Re: Ideas Dump

Could the psycho be among the contestants too? Here's an idea! The production team does not actually interact with the contestants (everything is filmed by remote-controlled cameras, you never see any crew. You might see robots / notes), and there actually is no "unpopular gets killed" ru...
