Re: Outlandish Move [SFW][edu][lang][school-based]StoryUpdat

AHHHhh oh man I had completely missed this because it wasn't upped on the Completed Games section. I'm super glad that progress has been swimming and that it's completed! Thank you for PM-ing me about the sprite you used; you didn't have to do that, but it made so happy and excited that it was actu...

Re: Widget's Free Ren'Py Character Sprites

The game is done, but I can't seem to find any contact details for Widget to let them know about it. Anyone know anything?

Re: Outlandish Move [SFW][edu][lang][school-based]StoryUpdat

So yesterday a completed version of the game was released to my students for their final English class at Junior High School. Lots of laughs were held, and lots of feedback received (mainly about my own language errors, lol), but on the whole it was successful. During the class we had challenges to ...

Re: Outlandish Move [SFW][edu][lang][school-based]StoryUpdat

I've now added characters emotional changes, so it doesn't look odd when characters are supposed to be crying but have huge grins.

I'm using this game in class on Tuesday, so the deadline has been set. Busy weekend coming up.

Unfortunately when I open the plain text file in notepad there are no new lines, just one continual word wrap. :(

Editra to Notepad (or similar)

Hey folks,
Does anyone know of a way to export a script from editra to a simple format (txt doc etc) while maintaining the layout? Basically I'm trying to find an easy way to have the scripts available for proofreaders and potential voice actors who do not have the software themselves.

Many thanks.

Re: Scrolling text in a VN game.

Yes, you have to add {fast} before that part. Could you elaborate a little more, here is what I have and kicks up an error. ka "わ~、すてきな家。" {fast} t "お父さんは仕事で、再来週来る。" ka "じゃ、荷物を…" (the bit I'll be using it for comes later in the game, I'm using this part as a tester)

Re: Scrolling text in a VN game.

Is there a way to turn this off on a specific line of dialogue (eg for a bang or dramatic effect)?
