Oh, bishie vampires are like chocolate candies; lots of different types, all of 'em good, and there's always room for more. :)

Hi everyone! My original artist has returned and has a bit of free time, so I'm going to put the call for an artist on hold for a month to see how things go. I *really* appreciate all the offers and all the lovely, lovely work displayed here. You guys are amazing -- simply amazing. I've gotta -- or ...

Ooo! That's lovely! I'd love to see some bishounen too, if you don't mind -- this is very much in the style I was picturing. :) And I absolutely *love* her hair style, and she has such a beautiful face, since I seem to have forgotten to say so earlier! (Must be all the pre-holiday pre-celebration. O...

I definitely skewed this one in favor of the female player, and I think I may have loaded in too much vampire bishie fanservice. Wait, is there such a thing as "too much vampire bishie fanservice"? ;) It's actually funny, because my protags are usually male, but this particular love triang...

How adorable! You're quite amazing with costumes -- you put my generic, Hollywood-esque, quasi-historical setting to shame. :) My "vision" (lol, I'm a Writer now) is a bit more anime-ish, I think. More flowing lace and sardonic smiles? Oh, and I've cadged some space on a friend's server fo...

I've been reading the original posts...and scratching my head wondering why I don't recall ever reading them...until it hit me they were over a year old! In that case, congratulations for completing your game! Thank you! It was actually technically done to this point over a year ago (only thing I'v...

I shall upload it and send a link to you, spoiling it for you forever, if you'd like. <g> We could call it a "beta-test" thing.

(Uh, the placeholder character art is, to put it nicely, ugly. It's not even art, so to speak -- just text blocks turned sideways!)

Danse Macabre -- Looking for a Character Artist

Hi everyone! It's been a while; isn't it funny how life sneaks up and whacks you upside the head sometimes? Anyway... I've found myself without an artist for my completed-except-for-the-character-art VN Danse Macabre recently (original post is here ), and I was wondering if there were any unattached...

Those screenshots are lovely! I especially like the character designs, and the way the hair in the bottom ones seems to be blowing across their faces is hugely appealing -- such a sense of space and adventure. Can't wait to get my hands on the game! Unfortunately, I'm pretty much just a writer (with...

I use a 256mb flash drive + a really, really simple .bat file that backs up specified directories to my other hard drive and to my flash drive. I used to have it set up to run when I turned the computer on but my start up times are already pretty atrocious (the poor computer is starting to get old)....

The title of this thread actually gave me pause; I read it at first as meaning 'ImageDissolve wants to eat!' and then I thought, "Oh, no, ImageDissolve is a zombie!!!" or something. Uh... yes... what was I saying? I've used ImageDissolve a little. I made this thing that sort of looks like ...

I was exposed to the computer when I was 8, when my parents bought me a Commodore 64 and a copy of Terrapin Logo (I just found out that Terrapin is still in business... good for them!). So basically the first thing I did with a computer was to program it, even if it was to make simple programs of t...

And is painful for the same reason :). So many things that could happen and I can't pick one XD. Thanks for all the ideas. I think I like the not-really-dead-old-flame idea the best so far ^^ No problem, ideas are easy. A really good plot is hard; it's really something the writers should bounce off...

I'm playing with an RPG structure in a fantasy setting right now... it's fun to work with, but there's a lot to keep track of. But it's a lot less intimidating than "Okay, each branch branches again, then again, which means... a billion branches!!!" Anyway, some ideas for story, premise, h...

Wow! I really liked the little touches. The factory planet's background and the lighting on the desert planet were neat (and beautiful!). And the hyperspace effect is really cool. I like all the bumps and jars, too -- very immediate, and the music fits really well with it (but reminds me of somethin...
