Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

@Evy I like that pose in the first kissing scene. Still working on backgrounds. This one a supermarket at night. I returned to working on my project after doing bgs for a group project for a year and a bit; and my style has changed now - and these latest bgs aren't consistent with the four I did for...

Re: Should I start commissioning or learning how to draw?

I wouldn't recommend learning how to draw unless you feel your life is missing something by not having that creative process in it. Learning art is direction/instruction plus many many hours of doing art (or practicing). Are you prepared to devote hours to this past-time every day? You'd need that t...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Background for my visual novel. 90% of my backgrounds are nighttime scenes and I can't figure out if you're supposed to show atmospheric fade if it's a night-time scene. Anyone know? [You posted this a while ago so it's probably not that helpful anymore but...] I don't whether you're supposed to bu...

Re: Recruiting an artist for paid work on our otome game

You could try perusing the "I'm an artist" recruitment thread, and if you find a style you like, then see if another commissioner may have left a favourable comment recommending the artist's work.

Park with a bench this time.

Pity it only occurs in one scene on a single path.

Re: Examples of Good/ VNs?

If you want an idea of where VNs are at now, try looking through the first couple of pages of the WIP section. Quite a few WIPs mentioned there are commercial or related to kickstarters. You can learn quite a lot just by looking at their art, GUI and how they present themselves.

Re: 1st Degree [BxB] [Mystery/Suspense/Drama]

I love the look of the sprites.

What worries me is I may not like the main character Rei - he is after all a murderer. It will be interesting to see how you make him a sympathetic character.

Love those twins and Aiden does it for me as well :)
