Re: [Artist Needed] How to Be a Successful Villain

sake-bento - I've worked too long and too hard for my respect as a denizen of the darkside, thanks. Actually, I think it sounds pretty funny...xD azureXtwilight - I do my part to ensure that the balance of good and evil remains tipped in our favor. As such, I feel that it is my duty to remind you t...

Re: [Artist Needed] How to Be a Successful Villain

Evangeline Were it not beneath me, I might find your enthusiasm admirable. However, I should destroy you where you stand for even suggesting that I would require any sort of assistance in putting these insignificant peons in their place. Next time it occurs to you that you might need assistance acc...

Re: autotranslating dialogs

Not sure how good of a translation you'd end up with if you went with Google Translate.
It's too bad there isn't currently a translator (as far as I know) that translates the entire sentence as opposed to word for word.

Re: [Recruiting] How to Be a Successful Villain

(What NOT to do:) Yes, you would be editing the script...^^ You're clearly able to write proper sentences, so I'm certain you'd be a fine editor...XP Welcome to the team! (Lesson 3: Never ASK one of your subjects for help; COMMAND it. Even if your subject offers to help, which should happen more fre...

LVUER - Ah...I, uh, don't want to discourage you or anything. But, for the sake of upholding the sanctity of villainhood, that was terrible. Ah, well. That's what the simulator is for! (Lesson 2: ALWAYS be brutally honest. If you ever try to spare anyone's feelings, you will automatically be stripp...

Re: [Recruiting] How to Be a Successful Villain

playswithtribbles - You, my friend, are well on your way to becoming a successful villain! Or so it seems. But, remember this: Many have set out set out to destroy the world, and many have failed. It isn't enough to be able to "talk the talk". The only way you'll know for certain if you a...

[Artist Needed] How to Be a Successful Villain

Summary So, you've finally decided to quash those worthless inhibitions, cast aside your inconsequential existence in favor of something a little more...high profile, and take your rightful place high above the mundane society in which you've heretofore been wasting your life. Good for you! Don't s...

Re: Regarding BL games...

There was a point in time, many ages ago, when I read straight fanfiction...And then I discovered BL. Now, I've seen just about every shounen-ai/yaoi anime in existence, played every commercial BL game with an English translation, adorn my bedroom with all sorts of BxB paraphernalia...Okay, perhaps ...

Re: First person writing

So, basically, what you're saying is that you're basing your statement off of your clearly very limited knowledge of the subject?

Dean Koontz is most certainly a 'real writer' and some of his novels are written in first-person. As is the classic 'Catcher in the Rye'.

Re: VN staffs!

It doesn't seem very realistic that she'd automatically assume that she was inside of the game just because a bright flash of light knocked her unconsciousness and she woke up somewhere other than her home. Something else would have to happen to lead her to that conclusion, I would think. It is not,...

Re: [WIP] EverCross: Forever Crossover (Recruiting)

Ducky was able to speak the moment she hatched, and it's never outright stated how much time had passed between their hatching and Spike's. It'd be difficult to draw an accurate conclusion based on appearances alone, too, since we have no way of knowing how they age compared to humans.

Re: [WIP] EverCross: Forever Crossover (Recruiting)

Hmm...Well, I can't draw, so that's out.
However, voice acting is a possibility. I've never actually tried out any of those characters' voices, but I have played Ever17 and seen plenty of Land Before Time movies.

I've give a couple of those characters' voices a shot on my own, then get back to you.

Re: [WIP] EverCross: Forever Crossover (Recruiting)

With some of those characters you mentioned, your game should come with a spoiler warning...xDD
Ahem, in any case, it's actually 'YuBIseiakikana'.
