Uh.. political cat game? Yeah, I'm looking forward to that.
Re: New Production "WonderDream"
That's a lot better. Most of the groups like this i've seen struggle to pick up artists, so that's a real bonus, and worth advertising.
Re: New Production "WonderDream"
Realistically, being a manager of a group isn't really a position. If you want to attract people, learn a useful skill, and no-one will feel like the person in charge isn't doing any work. After all, if you aren't paying people, it's very easy to get demotivated, especially if it looks like other pe...

Re: ★★★~NaNoRenO 2015 Recruitment Thread~★★★
I'm writing a short piece about a series of conversations between a physicist and a fledgeling AI. I'm looking for someone to make a few simple backgrounds, and likely about 2 cgs. The art style doesn't matter too much, but it's not exactly an opportunity for cute characters. Fairly obviously, this ...

Re: The Stroke of Midnight [Mystery Thriller, Light BxB]
I'm pleased to welcome Spectre to the writing team, as Sir Katherine has dropped out.
Also, I've set up a twitter account for the group at @AceOfSpades_VN

Crywolf EPs on repeat.
Not for everyone but it's so easy to just get lost in writing when it's on.

Re: Attempting to make a code lock
I guess if I used a different variable for each position I could do that.Milkymalk wrote:How about the way real code locks do it? 10 images for the numbers 0-9, 4 of them to display a 4-digit number?

Attempting to make a code lock
Basically, I've been trying to code a gameplay element, in which at one point there's a door with a number lock on it. Now, the code was fairly okay: screen GenCodeInput: tag puzzle use navigation imagemap: ground "gencode.png" idle "gencode.png" hover "gencodehover.png"...

Re: Character Issues
Having worked this out, is there a way to use something like a {nw} tag such that the text doesn't disappear instantly but lingers for about half a second to give the player a chance to read it?

Character Issues
Basically, I was wondering if it was possible to define a character such that all the text under that character will be affected by a transition? Basically I want to define a character that fades the text before prompted by a click.
Thanks

Have you read I/O? They pull it off pretty magnificently there, but I imagine that takes a lot of work.

Problem with UI
I've been trying to use UI functions to make a point and click interface, but I keep getting this error. "File "game/OtherStuff.rpy", line 341, in script File "game/OtherStuff.rpy", line 341, in python Exception: ui.interact called with non-empty widget/layer stack. Did you ...
