Re: Writing a murder case?
I highly advise anyone who is writing mystery stories to read some original Sherlock Holmes stories or watch a good adaptation of some of them. In Sherlock Holmes, some of the greatest mysteries aren't about murder at all, but they are still extremely interesting to uncover and piece together. Howev...

Re: Correct scale when 3d modeling backgrounds
Specifically in Google Sketchup, which is a free 3D modeling program for making objects and cities and stuff as opposed to people and landscapes and stuff, there is a reference person near the origin point by default. Also, you can set a place for your camera to "stand" in your 3D model, a...

It's quite alright- I'm the one sorry for ranting.
That sounds great ^^ what you're adding will add very much to your story, I think. Good job.

Re: The Witching Hour [Political Intrigue|Action|Fantasy] 4/
There's nothing shameful about a shorter story. If you know what you want your story to be and know what you want it to say, and your full story happens to come to a shorter word count, then there's nothing wrong with that. But if it's shorter because it's not... "full", then maybe let it ...

Re: The Silent Column [thriller, drama, mystery, spiritual]
Finally finished Serra in this picture.
I don't know what the background will be yet- that one's just a place holder, but it still looks nice, doesn't it?

Your art is very inspirational :) I especially like seeing the line art and rough sketches before the finished work. And of course, the finished work is great too. Nice job. Edit: (Claire has white hair but also sometimes has brown hair and a dress?) Another note about the art- a small pet peeve of ...

Re: The Silent Column [thriller, drama, mystery, spiritual]
I'm trying out a new art style for the story. It's kind of inspired by how Stien's Gate looks. I haven't played/read/watched it, but I love how they made it all visually look in their vn. I don't want to "rip them off" but I would like to go for something similar. But with a little bit mor...

Progress Update
All of the typed out scenes (rough or finished) and significant notes I have on the silent column so far (aside from the plot outline and characters' characteristics pages) total to around 25000 words. The rough plot outline of the entire story has been made. Some plot points may be switched around ...

Re: The Silent Column [thriller, drama, mystery, spiritual]
Yesterday was my uncle's birthday. I talked with him about my story and about how I have a LOT of it all in my head, and have been brain storming a LOT about it through text and writing, but have trouble making anything... "concrete". I keep growing and stuff and the story keeps growing wi...
