This is just an answer offhand, but couldn't you use a python variable to lead the player to a different set of save/load screens after said point?
It seems feasible, in logic.

As an update:
I have a few friends I've recently recruited to help with sprite supplements for secondary characters, and I'm proud to present that I am the happy owner of a side quest based around an angry chicken.

A name generator would be cool if you've got time to add it! And it would be really fun to see what kinds of names it has. On the other hand, if you'd rather not devote the time to programming that, just a predefined name is fine. That's what I prefer instead of coming up with character names when ...

hide black with dissolve

Write the 'with' statement at the end of the hide statement, and see if this fixes your issue.

The art is beautiful, the concept is a little present with a bow. I love that it's such a broad and meaningful topic but that you can breech it in a smaller amount of time. I'm looking forward to your results. :)

I like this concept, and I'm shoving a message in so I can follow this thread. A cool tip for reusing images is putting them in your GUI. Personally, I like sprinkling characters over the save/load and options screens, but it depends on your own style. Good luck!
