Don't worry, PBJ (love your name, by the way)! It's important that you deal with your "crazy mega insanely busy" life stuff first, so do what you have to do. I should've checked back sooner, because Basil's expressions are adorable. I am going to have a very difficult time being anything b...

Hey, Sid!

I've been thinking about your offer and I believe I'll have the time to help you with your English, but I don't know French. I hope that's not a problem.

Re: Exogenesis - Perils of Rebirth [post-apoc] DEMO RELEASED

One more thing I forgot: At some point in his conversation with Yu, Nobu uses the word "valiantly," except it's misspelled in the text as "valiently," and Yu corrects him. But that's pronounced exactly the same as the actual word---there would be no need for a correction unless t...

Fair point. I'll just have to tell my brain to shut up regarding that discrepancy.

The light green seems like it'd stand out the most, though on lighter-colored backgrounds it may be a problem.

Re: Mahou Shoujo Žižek-chan

The characters weren't really inspired by the Madoka characters, though. Žižek is more like the real philosopher merged with Tsukino Usagi or something (Usagi but with Žižek's verbal tics and occasional grumpiness, I guess), and Lacan was based on a vague 'aloof princess/himedere' character archety...

Re: Case Of Personal Pronouns

As Joseph Priestley published in 1772 in The Rudiments of English Grammar, Third Edition Ⅲ. Of the Oblique Cases of Pronouns Page 104: All our grammarians say, that the nominative cases of pronouns ought to follow the verb substantive as well as precede it; yet many familiar forms of speech, and th...

Re: Exogenesis - Perils of Rebirth [post-apoc] DEMO RELEASED

Oh, there's one more thing I forgot to mention! Since Yuudai Hayashi is the player character's name, wouldn't his nickname be written as Yuu and not Yu? You appear to be using the "wapuro romaji" style (which omits macrons) to transliterate his name, so . . . yeah. It's a minor quibble in ...

Re: Writer, editor, and aspiring voice talent at your servic

Yes, I could do that. I just feel I need decent copy to read. The characters for which I auditioned before were rather lackluster, and since the projects themselves became vaporware . . . well. I'll have something soon; I'm looking at some excerpts now. EDIT: I plan on adding some recordings to the ...

Re: Exogenesis - Perils of Rebirth [post-apoc] DEMO RELEASED

Well, I finished playing through the demo last night. I took many, many notes. The setting, plot, and characters seem interesting, though not much has yet been revealed about Durchhalten. I'm looking forward to seeing you plumb their emotional depths. (Eiji is my favorite by far.) The art and user i...

Re: Mahou Shoujo Žižek-chan

I don't think it's at all fair to call it "derivative" of Puella Magi . Inspired by, and sharing some major tropes, obviously, but it worked really well. Since this is clearly a response to my critique, I feel compelled to respond. (I'm a magical girl fan too, for the record.) There's a b...

Re: Writer, editor, and aspiring voice talent at your servic

You're right. I probably should put a link to the files here. But first I have to find them, and I'm not sure if more than a few were successfully imported to my new computer---that is, if I didn't delete them before I got it. It could take a while. I hope that's okay. I should also say that these a...
