Re: The Loop [thriller/puzzle]

Wow. O_O That was an amazing playthrough. If anyone wants to use it as a walkthrough for Demented mode, note: Hotel lobby suitcase You have to enter the first 4-digit code again before you can enter the second one. The video had both correct codes input at one point. Also, about "endings" ...

Re: Dialogue Choices/Branching

What I'm hoping to achieve ... is conversations that have a dynamic feeling to them; while the conversation choices you say might not necessarily have a large impact on things, it still alters how the direct conversation goes, giving it a more realistic feeling Go for it! You seem to realize the wo...

Re: Character Amount?

I'm referring to important characters in a story. Like the characters you'll stick with all the way from the start to the end, not those characters that are only important for a bit. Of course those side characters don't need to be developed as much. Some stories have main characters, but then they...

Re: Character Amount?

I think 2-3 Love Interest is fine. More will making it more complicate. I like Antagonist Character because they're fun making. So my VN used to have atleast one was input in the progress of making. Yeah. I think 2-3 would be the easiest to handle. If a person can pull off 5 or more love interests,...

Re: Character Amount?

How much character do you think suit a : 1. Otome Game 2. Horror VN 3. Adventure VN 4. Short VN 5. Long VN I feel these would be the minimum amount of characters, 1) protagonist + 3 love interests (could work with 1 or 2, but I think 3 love interests would provide greater balance/variety with perso...

Re: [Group Play 25] The Groozle

Waha! What a great game. I liked that the story and choices were simple. The illustrations were also nice. The music added to the cave adventure mood. The way each sentence appeared made it read like a storybook. While that helped pace the story well, sometimes the text formatting would look strange...

Re: The Loop [thriller/puzzle]

yes, that's the room. I failed doing a choice and the timer was gone to 0. So it restarted from the beginning (14th February, 2:44, in the bed) and when i was back into the room 409, after the 4th (or 5th line?) i got "again" the event saying that i failed. And it's restarting, and restar...

Re: Writing Workshop(s) planning thread

The plan I was thinking was 3-4 lessons per week (depending on number of total lessons) [...] (currently in the list there is 28 lessons, but there will probably be more added, so that number may change.) Hope that makes sense. Makes sense, but wow that's a lot of lessons  I'm excited, but I...

Re: The Loop [thriller/puzzle]

Wanted to give others a chance before I posted~ Congratulations on the release! I had a fun time playing through all the puzzles. I especially liked the apartment room riddles and rooftop encounters. Not to say the train part wasn't nifty, but I could get past it without much difficulty... mostly. T...

Re: Writing Workshop(s) planning thread

I fully support this and would rightly attend (as a student). I was thinking of a simple thread for the workshop with pdf (and possibly others formats if others need so) downloads. Assignments would be posted in the thread, along with any discussion. So the Writing Workshop would take place in one t...

Re: [Group Play 22] Ewe of the Falklands

That was really-- I'm not sure what to make of this game. I think I've reached all the endings. Mines, Sold, British food, King of Peru, Wool and Blood (x3 or so) I liked how this VN presented another side of history. I found some of the events too shocking that I couldn't laugh at them as much as o...
