Re: How do you avoid "convenient" or "coincidental" plotting
Her sister's letter doesn't have to be an explicit "RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS RING", and probably shouldn't be. Instead, Jane could have been doing research on the ring (and have come to some unsettling conclusions), or finds suspicious communications between Jane and members of the ring. If ...

Re: Meaningful choices?
For my part, I feel as though a choice can still be meaningful, even if it doesn't have a significant change of events. Bioware games are a lot like that. Except for some big choices, like save the last member of a race or destroy them, most of the options the player character is presented with is j...

Re: Currently unamed project - a personal story
I would be interested in this kind of story. You seem to have a unique perspective and that will allow you to give readers/players the kind of story they might not have encountered before. One thing I would warn about would be getting too close to the story. With a deeply personal story there can't ...

Re: Being evident or as silent as a ninja
The way I look at it, it's better to put what's natural for the characters before the need to explain things to the audience.

Ohh, very nice work! I'm very interested.
For something custom, what sort of information would you need? Like musical references, things like that?

Re: The Lady's Choice- [Regency Romance- GxB]-Amesbury relea
Harliqueen, Any tips for someone trying to get the True Amesbury Love ending? I managed to get all the endings for Stanton and Blake and maybe I've been a bit distracted with other things but I haven't been able to get it with Amesbury yet. While I was puzzling over it, I started daydreaming of an i...

Re: VN's Without Narration
I don't have much to add that RotGtIE didn't say better than I could have managed, but this topic has been haunting me for days and I just could not leave it alone. There are places in a VN that don't need narration/description. Character sprites, for instance. They are usually visible on the screen...

Re: VN with dogs as protagonists, trouble finding style
I love stories featuring animals! From what you've written so far, it reminds me a bit of Inugami, a little of Tokyo Jungle and of course, Watership Down. I'd definitely play a VN like this! Have you checked Deviant Art for artists? I'm sure you'll find artists who focus on animals, there. Good luck!

Re: The Lady's Choice- [Regency Romance- GxB]-Amesbury relea
So pleased to find the Amesbury path has been released! I must admit also to catching some feels for Montfort. If only he and MC had met on that first day! For a while I felt like there might be a path there - the drama would have been interesting, for sure. I know you said there's not going to be a...
