I DRAW SPRITES 2: CRITIQUE (unfinished piece)
Back again, after my last forum, I received a lot of help and good tips. So I took that into my feeble brain and practiced for a couple days. And here is the end result (see attachment) EDIT: I REUPLOADED AN UPDATED ATTACHMENT 7 Hours (Many layers with hairstyles, expressio...

Re: HELP: WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO MAKING AN OTOME GAME?
1. Ths standard size of a VX Ace map is 580x444 so remember that when making sprites, I'm sure you could probably expand the view in some way but I don't know of a way myself. 2. What I've done so far to display characters is have the "Player Character" be transparent with a second event ...

Re: I DRAW SPRITES: CRITIQUE/ HELP ME IMPROVE!?
First off, thank you everyone for all the tips. I will return with a new post :) :o Study proportions (like how long is your upper arm supposed to be compared to your torso -- answer's actually your elbow should be at the waist, and your arm is as long as your legs), muscles (which could help you w...

I know how to use a few simple codes, I have a story to start, a MC in mind and character concepts on the table. But I have no idea where to...

Re: I DRAW SPRITES: CRITIQUE/ HELP ME IMPROVE!?
Yes, I always stress out when I see too many layers open and so much time spent. I use the 'combined method' ; base color layer, shade layer, hue layer then highlight layer then combining them. And editing it afterward. But, I spend less time editing and more time trying to make it right the first t...

I DRAW SPRITES: CRITIQUE/ HELP ME IMPROVE!?
HELP ME IMPROVE: SPRITES!? So I have a lot of crappy art on my Deviantart, and the only way to get better is to get critique , which I don't get. (In fact I rarely get comments) So please help me out and critique my latest drawing . It took me forever to draw this set of sprites featuring my origin...
