These have been done. I just need my internet connection at home to be stable. (I blame my husband playing World of Tanks)

He says if they don't go away after a few weeks I'll have to get a biopsy. My sister is currently struggling through stage 4 breast cancer. I don't want to bring this...

Re: Public Domain Plays as Kinetic Novel?

I often think that it would be neat to create something based on well known improvised plays like "Punch and Judy" or "Commedia dell'arte" Many of those plays feature "Audience participation" segments that could be presented as choices e.g. "Warn Punch about the Cr...

Re: Ren'Py for Platform Games

Yes. And it has been done, but I can't recall the name. I made a sidescroller for Ludum Dare once: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-22/?action=preview&uid=5150 using pygame. The problem with it is that it reopens the window. My programming skills have gotten better and I could now make ...

Re: Shout For Joy, Share Your Happiness

So what's the happy part... that you found a good creative partner, or that your son has a not-a-girlfriend? Both! I like the not-a-girlfriend. She's a gamer girl with non-traditional interests. Unfortunately, she's short. :? (For reference, I think anyone under 5'8" is short. ...

Re: Shout For Joy, Share Your Happiness

It is Ludum Dare this coming weekend and I am participating with a good friend of mine. She is an awesome artist and flash game designer. My son offered to create some music for us, but had to revoke the offer because he is going to Halifax to see his not-a-girlfriend.
