The easiest way I think would be to make it bare bones and basic (for lack of a better term.) Not that I'm suggesting you strip your project raw, but set a stricter limit on what events or details are necessary. Try to keep only the big ticket items while keeping the plot cohesive. Probably a dumb question, but what exactly is nanoreno and sunofes? I've seen them mentioned a couple times across these forums but I'm not entirely sure what they are. Some kind of VN competition or something? Or is that a question for elsewhere?

This got way more responses than expected... Thanks for the suggestions. I've been making writing after work a habit alongside writing notes on my downtime. Hopefully I can stick with it since I haven't given up on my project yet

Juggling writing along with a fulltime job
I know that a part of my issue is that I've been way more negligent of my novel than I should have been. But does anybody have any experience or tips on finding time and motivation to keep consistent with the various parts of a novel on top of the daily grind?
