I have to admit, you've got me curious about these Shimejis now. XD

Re: .PNG + walking movements
Clua posted what I wanted to, some really great reference for walks. I did want to show you where you're having troubles with your walk specifically though, so I made this for you: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v445/wulfae/9e646bc5.gif (hopefully this cycles right...) Huzzah! So here's what I di...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
Gosh, I hope I improved :o Tuna Sushi, you might want to try drawing things from life. All the best anime artist can draw less stylised characters as well, since they have to know the rules (how a human body moves, how it really looks) before they can break them, by applying a style to it. I wouldn...

Re: Drawing on Tablet Feedback Please?
You're choosing to put the light source in a pretty difficult place... I'd suggest having it over to one side. If you're worried about not being able to flip the characters, maybe you could shade them twice? I did a really quick and dirty colour over the Makoto redesign image. I put the light source...

Re: Drawing on Tablet Feedback Please?
Another thing to keep in mind is that when you're drawing a shadow, the shadow defines the form it falls on. This means that instead of just going around the outline like you have with the neck, as an example, you have to think about what the actual form of that is. In the case of the neck, it's cyl...

Re: JustAnother Concept/Story Thread
I felt like a child. He finally freed me and he kept his promise. I was so happy that if he jumped at me I would've let him do "...Whatever you want!!" This one was a little weird, for me. Feeling like a child and then being ready to have sex in two sentences is a little jarring. Also, wh...

Re: How to deal with pesky loose ends?
All that being said... It is weird to me when I'm reading a story about kids and there are no parents in the picture at all, and they are never mentioned. I can see how just adding parents in randomly isn't helpful, but I think a few lines of dialogue about then wouldn't go amiss. At least then it's...

I'm glad you like it! -- I've found that FreePlane makes figuring out menu options, and their results, amazingly easy. The hyperlink connectors (green arrows) are particularly useful when several options end up the same place. I'm glad my model is proving helpful. Just remember that its not the onl...

http://i44.tinypic.com/10e27f9.png You already mentioned that you weren't too pleased with these drawings, but I thought I'd point out a few things anyway. n__n The shoulders seem *very* narrow. If you think about how the skeleton actually works, you have a rib cage, a collarbone on the front side ...

Re: BGs with people?
I'd be a little creeped out to see myself in a game, when I hadn't signed any releases or anything. I'm not sure how those rules actually apply, I know that you don't need to get a release from every single person in a crowd at a concert, say, but if you could only see a few people in the image... I...

Repost: When I'm writing a Visual Novel, I use a handy little freeware Mind-mapping program to outline all the major turning points and menu branches. FreePlane : http://freeplane.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page Thank you for that! I'm really enjoying writing out everything in FreePlane, a...

Rinrin, I wanted to thank you for all the effort you've put into that tutorial, it has certainly helped me start writing things in this program. I'm looking forward to part seven!
Re: Guestbook
I've been lurking on these boards for a couple of days, and I figured I should register and sign the guestbook. I'm excited about the idea of creating a story with multiple options, though I am definitely having problems wrapping my head around all of the variables. I know next to nothing about codi...
