Re: Emergency commission! [SPRITES, PORTRAITS, CHARACTERS]
I just want to vouch for Chocorutt! Great work ethic, easy to communicate with, and made fantastic sprites exactly according to specification. For comparison, see my original spites in this post: https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=32964 And newer (work in progress at the time...

Re: Transform interfering with animation speed?
*bump*
Anyone?
It does indeed seem to be applying an easeout on the frame rate. If I easeout over 5.0 seconds it clearly starts off animating slowly and then speeds up as it gets towards the end of the curve.
Is there anything I can do to fix or circumvent this?

Re: Transform(Alpha) with Creator Defined Displayable
Ok, I have tried out your code and my guess as to what's actually happening is the ATL transform is setting the alpha of the renderer, which isn't being reset anywhere else, so is then carried over into your render loop, hence that it is being applied to everything you blit - it is being blitted wit...

Re: Transform(Alpha) with Creator Defined Displayable
So is the problem that blit is not returning a flattened image? Or does that work? (I've not used it in ren'py before, but normally I'd expect blit to flatten the layers.) If it works, could you blit all your images and then apply the transform? Or do you need to apply different transforms, some of ...

Transform interfering with animation speed?
I have an animating sprite and a transform. They work perfectly when applied separately, but when I combine them, the animation frame rate seems to slow down then speed up as if it is doing an easeout on the animation. I don't know if I'm using ATL incorrectly or whether it's a bug or performance is...

Re: [SOLVED] Transform not working with yalign
Just in case it's helpful for future reference, xalign and yalign set both the position and the anchor at the same time. So if you do yalign 0.0, it will put the image at the top of the screen with the anchor at the top of the image. If you put yalign 0.5, it will put the image in the middle of the ...

Re: Multiple choices and remembering them
Argh! I had written a long and comprehensive post but lost it! And now I'm out of time. I hope the script below helps you. The thing to remember is that variables can have any name and be set to anything, letters, numbers, or True/False so... $ character1 = "Hime" $ whatever = 1 $ another_...

Re: Multiple choices and remembering them
There are a few different ways of doing this. But what you're probably missing is a "jump" at the end of your sequence to stop ren'py running through them in sequence. So like this show hime talk hime "Hello!" yuu "Hello." jump choice1_done If it's saying it can't find ...

Re: One Night Stand [Drama][Mystery][NaNoRenO 2016] - COMPLE
Wow, what a cool experience! It really captures the morning after well! Though it was a bit weird (for me) looking through the eyes of a guy. I played through twice but got the same ending both times. Not sure if there were any others? Also not sure if it matters which items you examine? I liked Rob...

This looks so interesting! I can't wait to play the final version! I like that the textbox is constantly animating and the stills are animating, it makes it feel very cohesive.
