Hi Chocojax! I'd love to commission you for a Live2D character. I'd probably be looking at the 'complex' package, with a complex animation. Would be for (eventual) commercial use. Most of the game is pixel art, which I know isn't the best reference material, but here's an illustration - http://imgu...

Thanks! And sorry, I'm not doing service exchanges.YourGeekGoddess wrote:Wow, these are really neat! I don't suppose you might consider an exchange? For example, providing art for a project of mine and I could provide writing, music, or voice acting to a project you might be working on?

Re: Leoux! [Fantasy|Dramatic Comedy|Nano2016]
(I swear, I didn't notice the connection until you pointed it out, hahaha!) Do you have thoughts or comments on the premise and/or characters so far? I just wanna say that I really like your take on how magic is viewed by people in your setting! Never thought of that or heard of something like that ...

I'm hoping to join in on the fun! I've already come up with an idea for a story and character designs. (I'm also planning on solo'ing it, loool.)

1. Make use of variables: http://renpy.org/wiki/renpy/doc/tutoria ... er_Choices
2. You'll wanna use persistent variables: http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/persistent.html
(Make sure you understand how to use conditional statements as well: http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/conditional.html)

Image RPY Generator
I made this for myself so that I wouldn't have to constantly define stuff for animated images, but if you wanna use it, go ahead! It'll output a .RPY file (in the same folder as the executable) containing whatever image definitions you specified in the program. ( Fixed it so that it'll work on...

Re: How modify alpha value?
Maybe you could use side images instead (http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/side_image.html) to show different overlaying images at different times? Or, you could use variables and if/else statements in the screen to change it. (Not sure if this would work though, would test but I'm not able to use a com...

Re: How modify alpha value?
So, you want to put image1.png over the text box? Go into screens.rpy and add it to the screen say. You'll want something like: screen say(who, what, side_image=None, two_window=False): # Decide if we want to use the one-window or two-window variant. if not two_window: # The one window variant. wind...

Re: two load screens?
If you want to pass a variable to a screen, you'll have to give it a name when defining the screen. A simple solution could be passing in an int value:
Code: Select all
screen load1(navi):
if navi is 0:
use navigation
else:
use navigation1
