Re: Will you be my friend??? :D

Just being skipped, huh. I feel neglected, abandoned and shunned. These wounds, they will never heal, crawling in my skin.

Re: Call to the Turnabout [Adventure|Law]

I'll be setting aside a bit of money then in anticipation. EDIT: Meaning I'll be backing the Kickstarter if the demo is impressive enough. I'm still looking forward to a VN about law and justice, but I maintain that I'd like it to distinguish itself from Phoenix Wright enough not to be an elaborate ...

Re: Novel Proofreading (Using me once costs 2 USD paypal) Re

Hi, great you're offering this service! I went through your post and tried to spruce it up a bit to be easier to read. There were a few grammatical errors in there, and I had to take some liberty interpreting what you were trying to say as it wasn't clear. While I appreciate your keen business spiri...

Re: Wake Up [Short] [Sci-Fi] [Aesop] [Need BG Artist]

I have a tendency to speak in absolutes when it's mostly my opinion. I think it makes you likely to fail because the moment you subject your writing to the public, it will be scrutinised and criticised or, even worse, people will excitedly speculate about how it's going to continue and you'll feel l...

Re: Wake Up [Short] [Sci-Fi] [Aesop] [Need BG Artist]

Posting excerpts of your work is the surest way to fail. Restrain yourself and keep the work to you, your editor and the ones who'll eventually collaborate with you. Don't worry if people'll find an idea interesting; I guarantee you that there is always going to be someone interested , so there's no...

Re: Wake Up [Short] [Sci-Fi] [Aesop] [Need BG Artist]

I think I have three concepts lying around that are similar to this, so you bet I'm interested. I don't think the lack of a BG artist should stop you from writing: once you have a (well-written) story, it's easier to attract people to your cause.

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Normally I wouldn't really care if someone said that, I'd have the attitude of "my writing will prove itself." But lately I've been dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety due to a lot of stressors in my life, so that comment planted another doubt in my mind. I used to have confidenc...

Re: Creating Unique Characters

It is impossible to create a character that does not fit into at least one stereotype or trope. Rather than attempt to create something that does not fit a stereotype or trope, it is far more important to define why they are that way. A character can be stereotypical, and yet be interesting because ...

Re: Dysfunctional Systems cancelled! Wait, what?

I'll be honest, this has scared me out of running my own KS having seen all the things that have gone wrong here :\ What hope do the rest of us have if this project died? They guys are suppose to be one of the best groups around :s I'd hazard they're not one of the best groups, actually. They only ...

Dysfunctional Systems cancelled! Wait, what?

Link: https://dischan.co/blog/2015/01/the-end-of-dysfunctional-systems/ (note: all values in CAD, not USD) So Dysfunctional Systems has become truly dysfunctional, and after a pretty good Kickstarter ($67,000!), the end result was never to be. Dischan cites poor management and lack of foresight for ...

Re: Ens Causa Sui; Looking for composer!

Hi Trass! Sorry for the (somewhat!) late response. We've currently got someone working on music, so while I really like your work, we're not in a position to get two people for such a low amount of songs, I don't think! (Unless Kryptage waltzes in and wants to say I'm wrong :P!) Thanks a lot for you...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I play League of Legends often, but sometimes I'm paired with total strangers as my support. Sometimes, they had the nerve to call profanities to me as an ADR, when it's completely their fault. I wish I could skin them alive even if they're my teammates. :P ADR? I tend to play DOTA2, where I suffer...
