Re: I DRAW SPRITES: CRITIQUE/ HELP ME IMPROVE!?
Yes, I always stress out when I see too many layers open and so much time spent. I use the 'combined method' ; base color layer, shade layer, hue layer then highlight layer then combining them. And editing it afterward. But, I spend less time editing and more time trying to make it right the first ...

Re: Summer Novel Festival Discussion Thread [Jul - Aug Gamej
Yeesh.. I'm starting to feel as if I'm behind where I wanted to be at this stage. My project submission may end up being a "Chapter One" sort of deal, which I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do. BUT there's still time, something miraculous could happen :) Oh do I feel you, this is th...

Re: Water Lily [Historical Romance] [PXB&G]
This game looks very promising! I love the drawings and like the idea that you can choose your gender and orientation. The background and your character drawings fits very well. Good luck and I will be keeping an eye on this one. Thank you! Definitely mean a lot to the artists working on this. Do k...

Re: Of character name and nationality
I don't know... A person's name confuses me sometimes. When it comes down to it, there's actually a lot Chinese names that crosses over to some Korean and Vietnamese's names (mainly North Vietnam? due to geography). Vice versa with English's names in America and Europe. You just can't judge so easy....

Re: Commission review system?
This system seems like an nice add-on, but of course it has it's pro and cons. If we do such a system, it must be moderator accordingly. I'm very cynical when it comes to these things on these sites. We don't know if both sides will even up kept this idea. Faking ratings or not posting them up their...

I really love historical games. They add so much depth to the vn genre, I also went to check out your indieDB page and it's amazing. I hope to see some frequent updates in this thread similar to your other page. Also, I want to tell you that Nun was be my favourite character -- though this mentor re...

Looking for a singer + Chinese translator. Closed for now
http://i57.tinypic.com/2s12a6u.png From the title above, I'm currently looking for a singer specifically Chinese to sing my opening song since one that I try contacted through a third party is a little busy. However, you can still apply if you're a English singer... Nothing wrong with that :) As th...

Re: Water Lily [Historical Romance] [PXB&G]
As long as I can romance a guy, I'm happy~ XD This looks really interesting, and the art is lovely. The characters remind me of that one otome game - Hakuoki was it? I never played it, because I have no psp, but I have read about it online. I look forward to seeing the demo. ^_^ Exactly, romancing ...

Re: Where to Learn Digital Art for Complete Beginners?
annpan Thanks for recommendations. I'll probably have to use references in the beginning, before I can draw from memory. No problem, shapes/lines are your best tools when using a mouse. I'm really old school, I had used the really old ms paint to draw. I miss it, it's all updated and stuff. ...

Re: Where to Learn Digital Art for Complete Beginners?
This is really going based on my past experience with beginning out, hopefully this helps you... I'm not a professional artist so I didn't mind of the constant clicking of the mouse. My ambition didn't even care to pause about the negative effects it may have on my hand. Just kept on refining my mou...
