Re: Protecting your artwork?

Well if you are looking to Watermark your work, Watermark Tutorial (I would have posted the picture but the net here sucks)

But I've found simply writing "Property of "X" Do not Copy or redistribute" in the bottom Right or Left tends to work.

There we go! Much better.

Love the work but still needs a little work like harder lines and a little more depth but very good.

Re: Should Adversity strike again?

I feel an hour time limit would be better for the games. We've all seen those games and movies that stick to the "10 minuet" rule and after the time limit it's like they just gave up. I feel that would happen here for the same reason. If you give them a forced hour limit then they will be ...

Re: Official Megatokyo visual novel

*Feels awkward* I've been reading it since early 2003.... I was actually involved in the 04, 06 and 07 Game attempts as well as the early anime tests.

Good on them but I feel the game will suffer until Pyro actually finishes the series.

Re: Player character input

It depends on the story really. Some stores are just better when you are a long for the ride while others are more suited for silent protagonist. Either way as long as the writing is good it shouldn't matter where the player is sitting

Skype, a Screen rendering program like Many cam and Hamachi

Use Skype for person to person conversation, Many cam to share your screen and Hamachi to share a hard drive between everyone on the team.

Re: song critique requested

Medium verb yeah, quite breathy try singing while standing when you sing. though this would work well for The voice is not bad but you feel like you are reciting the song. there is almost no emotion in it. Try singing it with your eyes closed... Seriously, it tends to help bring it from you not the ...

Re: Making a horror VN that's actually scary?

Music is key. I recently played Phantasmagoria because of the hype around it. Not really all that much of a scary game, but the music freaked me out to the point that I turned it off. It abused my knowledge of the genre and put me on edge because the music sounded like something was coming to get m...

Re: Crawling into the mind of the opposite gender

I'm sorry if I offended you. *don't want to make enemies on my first day* I didn't mean to be insulting. I agree that guys and girls are pretty much the same. Also; I'm a young; novice writer. In middle school. I don't have a lot of guy friends so I base people off of the guys I know and they act l...

Re: Crawling into the mind of the opposite gender

I'm a girl; but I'm better at writing guys than girls. :? I will give you some tips. -Guys aren't really emotional about day-to-day stuff. -They are more likely to be sarcastic/complain than lash out or cry. -When they are happy; they usually are quieter about it than girls are. They may just smile...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Well, to be fair the last 3 major bombs were done by Skinny, nerdy computer engineers that collectively weighed 200 lbs. The Boxer doesn't count because he wasn't that bright to begin with, Last 6 or 7 Shootings were also the "nerdy type" to boot.

So, I would understand their caution.
