Re: What's your favorite type of cookie?
Took me a while to realise ye were talking about biscuits, not just cookies.

Re: Pink Carnations (GXB Otome)
I think the reason no-one seems interested is that we know nothing more than the fact that it is a romance. That said, I'll probably read it anyway :3

Re: House 666 (horror, mystery)
It looks a bit odd seeing crumpled paper and perfectly straight lines of text across it, almost like the writing is hovering over the paper.

Re: Cause Without a Rebel (Fantasy BxG GxB)
Finished the first draft of the first route now. Currently about 2k words now. Took longer than expected since I decided to completely change the ending to fit Ben's personality better. Second route should be longer, but take less time to write, since much of the dialogue is repeated from the first....

Re: How do YOU write out your scripts?
My method is to concentrate first and foremost on getting everything important written down in the first draft. I rush through the important conversations, skip the unimportant ones, and never rewrite a single sentance until I'm completely finished. This leaves me with one of the crappiest stories i...

Re: What annoys you about guy characters in GxB?
I hate the fact that there are almost no muscular men. I'm not looking for Mannosuke-level muscles, just something other than skinny-as-a-rake. Also, guys with stong jawlines and beards. (Except for scraggly beards because they look awful) In terms of personalities: Umm... I wish they had... Persona...

Background photo swap
Since I don't exactly have quick access to some of the locations I'd like to use as backgrounds, and I'm sure there are others in the same boat, I thought of creating a thread where we can request and offer photos. At the moment I'm looking for a busy city street (Preferably busy with shoppers), and...

I'm half-tempted now to write a character who yells BEEP! instead of swearing.

If you think English is funny, you should try Irish.

It's not exactly hugely powerful, and the English translation can be a bit iffy, but it's really easy to learn. (I managed to figure out almost all the functions in under a week of fiddling) It's very good for editing pre-existing 3d models, but it's almost unknown.

Re: About my artwork....
Okay, proportions-wise, you're getting better. The shoulders look about right, but further down, he is shrinking. Also, you need to work on the shape of the face, as the cheekbone appears to be above the eye. Don't be afraid to fatten him up a bit either. The top of the arms should be roughly 1/3 th...

Re: Female characters - why they are how they are
(A bit nervous about replying in here but...) Judging by the course I'm doing(Game Development), the ratio of male/female game developers is about 10/1. This is a major generalisation of course, but it'd probably do as a rough estimate. In first year there were roughly 50 students, 5 of which were g...

Re: What women want from female characters
Isn't that the original description of yandere, though? That they seem completely sweet and loving until you disappoint them and then they go ax crazy? In which case, if you never upset them, they'd never snap... Probably not the best example...I just woke up when I was writing that. Anyway, what I...

Re: What women want from female characters
Personally, I find that, especially in Dating sims, the obtainable characters (Whether they're female or male) don't feel like real people. They often seem more like items, and wooing them feels like collecting coins. Most especially when their personality (such as it is) seems to depend completely ...
