Re: The Aces - GxB vn in progress
@serenity-blue: Yes, there will be an option in the preference. I plan to so that people who would like to skip the battle sequences may and enjoy the story more. Plus, uh, it'll make finding endings a lot less complicated. :P I pull the "lol" card on your last comment. @Cain0425: I'm gla...

Re: The Aces - GxB vn in progress
@Aleema (and anyone concerning the system): Yeah, you're right. I should really start thinking more seriously into this if I'm hoping for it to function in any distinct way. Well, to start, healing cards would be an efficient idea. I thought about taking a little from PW since their characters are ...

Re: What got you into VN making?
I'm totally up for this. Resisting interview questions is totally not an option for me. 1) I believe I starting attempting it around 2007. I lurked around the forums for 2 years before I actually joined and started talking. I found this forum though through Google search because I was bored and want...

Re: The Aces - GxB vn in progress
@Aleema (and anyone for the matter concerning the system): Oh! Sorry that it confused you a bit. I guess I should correct that post so that other people can read it too. I enjoy the fact that people are assisting me with the system and thank you long time for the ideas. Continuing on, I didn't know...

Re: [WIP] Frozen Essence GxB: 85% - Planned for July release
Holy cow. Talk about a huge improvement! That is some mambo change for a character sprite in the shortest time period! I have to say: I'm impressed. Concerning the character, Rune, in question though, I think the only thing you dropped was the highlights on the jewel. Add them into your current one ...

Re: [Crit] CaesMRaenes: Art Thread
@Samu-kun, IxIoN, Deji, and unknown5: Holy brick that smacked me in the head! @_@ I never actually realized that. I got curious and compared your explanations and critiques to some of my other artworks and actually noticed that the mistakes that I've been pulling off are there too. The only time I ...

Re: The Aces - GxB vn in progress
@Tejan: Numerical values for cards would be a lot better to work with so I suppose that would be a wise choice there. I'm still skeptical about using aces in the deck too, but I'll keep that on the sideline of ideas. And, ah, thanks for mentioning about those numerical variables that we were talkin...

Re: Crystal Heart
Nukku is cute but that's a lot of pink. How about incorporate more green colors to make her into a bit of a flowery-colored fairy? XD Nah, being that this is a Kingdom Hearts-based game, I just think that she just needs more summery clothes and colors to make her look "freer" and more live...

[Crit] CaesMRaenes: Art Thread
I know I created a thread once asking for opinion about a piece of artwork for a convention, but I'm gonna pull a personal thread so that I could improve some-some and more. Like I mentioned in the "Critique Please" discussion, I'm gonna edit the first post a lot to keep track what I do ha...

Re: The "Critique Please" initiative
Excuse me for posting so immediately, but uh, it's this one, Deji. Child Pornography or Cartoon Pornography. Don't know why I felt the need to put a spoiler tag though. Haha. Just saying. We could simply use [Crit] as a tag since it's a critique wanting tag, plus it's like being crit-ed (critically ...

Re: The "Critique Please" initiative
PyTom, the Critique option in the profiles is an interesting idea and could act like a red target, but sadly, it's tucked away. Most people only look at profiles in curiosity as to how and where to contact a person. Deji, you do prove a point with a long-butting thread with so much artwork clumped i...

Re: The "Critique Please" initiative
I support this. Not only would threads with the tag of [CP] but the Skill Development forum would get a lot of attention. I agree with your examples of critique. I find that being reasonable is a lot better than being nice for critiques. It's been taught many times, over and over, in our art classes...

Re: [WIP] Thinking (recruiting a lot of people)
Yeah I realized how uncomfortable it was to read with that font like a month later XD Thanks for the suggestions of fonts. I liked the 3rd one but I'll search a little more around the internet for a cool font. I'll search in DaFont, I might find something good over there. Okay. Good. XD I thought I...

Re: [WIP] Thinking (recruiting a lot of people)
Wow. I turn my back for a few moments and you're aiming for a big project. I'm glad that it came to that point and I've been interested in your work since you started so I'm a happy bird typing this out. I'm not signing up for a position, though it would be nice to participate but I'm booked, but I ...

Re: Love ♡ GET!! [WIP] [GxB] {Recruiting!} Updated!!
Mmm. Loving the soft artwork there, Hyda. The storyline is simple so I think it has a lot of potential of becoming something big and extraordinary. Yo, coders talking their code language over there! I noticed that you guys were considering using numerical variables to determine which guy would the M...
