Been trying it out for the past two days. I can't seem to get good performance when using Transitions on an actual android device though. Nexus 7 and Droid 4 both have really choppy behaviour when trying to dissolve, fade, or pixellate compared to a PC. Only the move transitions seem to work flawle...

That doesn't sound hard. I just started messing with Ren'Py recently but I am fairly proficient in Python. Your project looks neat and well thought out and I would certainly like to help so long as it doesn't cut into my day job.

If your programming needs are light, I can lend you a hand. Although I am unsure of what you mean by mapping ui. I take it you are designing a ui and need someone to make it actually work?

which engine would you be referring to? I do not see a tactical engine in the wiki frameworks page.
