Re: Drawning Board of a beginner

Also when taking photos try to square it up as much as possible, this will make editing MUCH easier. Wh...

Re: Drawing a deliberately beautiful character in anime styl

Well look over the characters you enjoy and ask yourself, "Why do I like this character?" "What is different about this character then the rest of the show?" "How does this character stand out among other characters in different shows?" You'll find that it's less how th...

Relimount wrote: And for the 3D Graph Paper, I saw the link already. But I think this is a paper made in order to see how the size of the squares grow in perspective, right ?
More or less, It's not much different then a standard grid just deeper. I use it mostly for Level design but it helps with other things too.

Re: Drawning Board of a beginner

Yes, I see that I need to work the face, they seems... empty to me, it lacks of details. And I am going to check for the skulls, this is a great idea. But I don't know what is a 3D Graph Paper... The 3d paper is linked in my last reply. This will help you with working on depth. The reason the face ...

Re: Drawning Board of a beginner

Okay, Your pretty good but... You need to work on your faces. You seem to be going for more realistic so look up "how to draw realistic faces" or look at drawing the human skull so you can get use to the "points" Next try drawing depth Maybe look at 3d Graph Paper Check your loca...

Re: Do I have to use sprites and backgrounds?

Well I guess you don't but it will be hard seeing as this IS a visual medium. Reminds me of an anime I was watching called FLAG. It's basically a 6 hour (12 part) slide show. It starts off kind of... meh but as you go it really begins to grow on you. The whole thing one picture or quick clip after a...
