Re: Errant Heart - Settling In

This is just a comparison of the two demos, but there weren’t any dialogue text box scenes. Everything was in the narrative text box which obstructs the sprites and BG. I personally prefer the old fashioned text below the characters, just something to keep in mind. I’m not sure if it’s a personality...

Re: RE: Alistair (Otome dating sim/stats raising visual nove

I actually thought Shiro's story was really solid. By solid I mean it's the path I fangirled at the most :P. He had a good mix of nice, smart, and mystery. And that second CG was just... ridiculous .

Re: Worst or most disappointing game you ever bought

The forking paths, definatly. Then the button combos. I don't think I've ever played a game where I had to lose to win. Then I tried to memorize the combos and specials but I can't do fast paced strategy to save my life. The only fighter I am good at is Naruto Ninja Storm which is kiddie level :P.

Pokemon was my 'first' but the first one I actually watched as an anime was Ouran High School Host Club. Mmmmhmmm ^^.

Re: Worst or most disappointing game you ever bought

I think it's a tie between BlazBlue and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. With BB, I'm not a real fan of fighters anyway but the story mode frustrates me so much. I never even finished the first level of R:CoM (I'm not a very patient gamer :P).

Re: Errant Heart - Arrival at San Moritz

I just finished reading the demo and took notes. I'm sorry if I'm too critical, but that is probably more useful than saying how much I liked the game, frankly :P. When describing the deaths of the people when Casandra returns to camp, minimalize the use of hyphens. Commas are less bulky. The sprite...

Re: Your most favorite obscure game?

Evolution Worlds. My first Gamecube game... it was awesome. The story seemed like a total ripoff of Castle in the Sky, IMHO.

Re: Your Stereotypes

I live in southern Louisiana so I've got lots of stereotypes. I am hardcore Republican. No, not really. The government in Louisiana is a lot of backroom dealings. I don't support it though ;P. I'm an uneducated hick live everyone in Louisiana. Frankly, I'm smart. I am a member of the NHS (National H...

Re: What do you want from a visual novel?

First I want to list a few of my favorite VNs. Narcissu, Yo-Jin-Bo, and True Remebrance. Narcissu has really pretty art, lovely music, and a unique story. It didn't have a real happy ending, but that was more satisfying in the end. True Remembrance didn't have the best art, but the story was so diff...
