Re: A Window in Time
Just updated the WIP thread a few hours ago, flushed out the synopsis a bit plan on doing it again as I continue writing, it is difficult however as I don't want to make it seem like the story about an old depressed guy without giving away the manor in which he ends his time on earth. I also added a...

Re: A Window in Time
I must say, that seems a bit depressing... Yes, there are several major events in his life that cause him to lose faith in himself, very similar to Mark Twain (author of Hucklberry Finn ). They are dissimilar in a few ways however, such as that Mr. Roy is not or ever is in any sort of prolonged fin...

This game looks great! How much will it cost!? :D And am pretty much just tinkering with the backgrounds and stuff now, since unfortunately the original writer doesn't think he'll be able to continue the script. The first day is scripted at least, it's quite funny! Does this mean you or another mem...

Actually the tan one is a tortoise(flat feet and longer neck suited to life on land), and the green one is a turtle(more hydrodynamic limbs suited for life in water)leon wrote: And here are some completely random turtles. :p

Hey I can help with recording the footage, I have a licence for fraps and have tried recording renpy games with it before. The video comes out with more or less the same quality.
Also if you are interested, I can help with the In Orbit editing.
And questions feel free to PM

Re: Food for thought - "Replay Value"
Very interesting article, and I do think that chocolate sauce is a major problem with a lot of VNs, especially those without game-play elements. I think that the biggest problem here though is the work(arguable in some cases) that you have to go through to get each of the endings in a lot of VNs. Ta...

Re: Selling download of a game via PayPal?
Well if you are interested in selling digital content only you might want to take a look at this . It is the PayPal site integration method. Not sure how well if works personally as I have never used it merely researched it for future use. This should link you to Paypal's micro-pricing explanation p...

Re: Defining Error with Relationship Points (Solved)
Hmm well unfortunately that is probably only a temporary fix. I think what might be happening is that you aren't able to access variables that were defined in a different label. So you might have trouble with that still. :/

Re: Defining Error with Relationship Points
I have to admit I'm stumped... maybe try label laugh: $ parihan_points = 0 $ parihan_points += 5 That's pretty much a shot in the dark but the only thing that I can think of is that maybe the variables aren't being recognized globally. If the above doesn't work then I'm not sure what else to tell yo...

Hm... Try posing your entire code, minus all of the text lines except for one or two to show that there is a block of it(text) there
