Re: Ciel Fledge [Raising Sim] [Sci-Fi]

It never stops amazing me, how many great ideas and stories people can create! I guess it was here somewhere but when are you planning on a final release? I see you are getting ready for a limited public test.

And good luck to the convention! I hope you get all the attention you need and more ;)

Re: Asterism [RPG-VN] [Astronomy] [Some BL]

The base idea you started with seems strong and solid :) Unfortunately I dont have the time to read the script so I just have to ask... How much research have you put into the astronomy part? I mean, any lore, how deep does it go? How REAL the stuff is? Does the science stop at names or does it go d...

Re: Languages!

Quite a colorful collection of languages :)

1 Finnish (native)
2 English
3 Norwegian/Swedish (75 % same language)
4 Danish (I can read very well, listening is very very very difficult)

Then I know some Italian words and phrases because of music theory studies (a lot of italian terminology).

Re: sound effects help or advise?

I dont know if you found a software yet but you should check Reaper or ProTools First. Studio One has a free lite version too. Ableton Live Lite is free also. They are all very good for editing the sound. For recording, the easiest way is to get a hand-held device like Zoom.

Re: What is the best way to learn musical theory and rhythm?

Playing is probably the best way to internalize music. Studying theory helps you to understand music, which then helps you to perform/create and further internalize music. A great website is www.mymusictheory.com if I recall the adress correct. It follows the ABRSM program from ground up. ABRSM is p...

Re: Help making Instrumental music

I second what Sonomi and Graff said. Focus on good writing. Amazing things can be even achieved with MuseScore and soundfonts if the writing is good. Then again, as you advance in your clientel, requirements for sound quality increase. The truth is, if you want sounds like Two Steps from Hell uses, ...

Re: Which videogame exhibitons should I have to go?

I've done a lot of thinking around the same question lately. Yes, international connections are great (especially if you have met them in person SEVERAL times) but local stuff is where your money often is. They are your real crew, they are the people who are fighting the good fight with you. They ar...

Re: The Devil's Broker [Action, Magic, Guns, Intrigue]

Music is can be a difficult part. With all the free rescources it is luckily cheap. Downside is always the lack of uniqueness =\ but when the budget is limited it is limited. If you ever need a second opinion on the music choices, you are always welcome to send me a message. Will be glad to help the...

Re: The Devil's Broker [Action, Magic, Guns, Intrigue]

It is late here so I won't go too deep in my feedback and praise due to a tired mind. I'll do that after a few hours of good sleep <3 But this game looks great and I'm very happy to see more westernish appearance. The premise of the story is interesting even without romance. :) I'll get back to you ...
