Textbox window/text during transitions
So, I've seen a few other posts on here regarding this question and all of them were mostly pointing towards 'Window Show' which does work, although I've found that the text still takes a noticeable amount of time to load in with the sprite change. Is there a way to have the text/textbox continue on...

Re: High Visual Quality - Visual Novel/RPG...What to use?
That's very true.
I'm sure we can learn and adapt to what we need to, my friend's fairly tech/code savvy, it's just a matter of finding the thing that will be easiest on resolution/quality. Hmm... Thanks for the input Papillon!

High Visual Quality - Visual Novel/RPG...What to use?
Hey, I'm sure this questions been asked before give or take a few months/years, but I was curious as to what's the optimal system to make an RPG/Visual Novel would be? I partially just want the project I'm working on to have an open world feeling, that way the player doesn't feel restricted to just ...

Looking for someone with experience in Ren'py
Hey Hey. I'm Wakagana, lead Dev of the VN Driftwood I'm not very savvy with Ren'py, so I know when we get all our art assets and actually start coding I'm not going to have a clue of what to do. Sooooo. I'm looking for someone that can help answer questions regarding code, and possibly even do some ...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
I don't come to Lemmasoft very often, but when I do, I'm amazed at the amount of people that are still creative and still actively working together on projects. I started coming here nearly 2 years ago, and each time I visit, I smile, either from the new wip projects I see that look awesome, or just...

Yes, but we've got a lot of applicants over Deviant art I'll add your name to the list of people that we will most likely choose from.

It is. x.x
It's hard to find artists, let alone people interested in such a large scale project for an extended time. But I'm really hoping we find someone, we've got a lot of talented people. Just need the last puzzle piece

Looking for long term CG line Artist for Driftwood.
Hey guys. I'll keep this as short as possible so it's not a huge wall of text, so here we go. ^.^ Driftwood is a project that was started in May of 2012 for a school portfolio project. It expanded into a full-blown out project and production and has been in the works for the past year and a half. To...

Re: Driftwood (BxG) -- Now on Kickstarter
Well. That was faster then expected. Driftwood's been fully funded on only the 5th day. I can't thank Lemmasoft enough for being a part of the inspiration towards the project and being able to help me along the way. PyTom and all the other mod's that keep this place running smoothly, you're all awes...

I don't want to be too reliant on that crowd, but it's most likely going to be the make or break for any of the stretch goals. We will see though.Obscura wrote:Fantastic start, wakagana! You just need to hit the Katawa Shoujo crowd and BAM mega funding.

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
All I can spot right off the bat at being even slightly wrong is the alignment of the nose/lips in comparison to the eyes. seems like it could use a bit of a rotation, but other then that, really good job imoKirroha wrote:I... tried my hand at realism. Is there anything I desperately need to improve here?

Re: Driftwood (BxG)
Been a crazy 11 months. The kickstarter is finally up though. Give it a look! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/758714218/driftwood-the-visual-novel Fortunately, the project can have as much porn in it as the person creating it can possibly want, but I'm under the impression that as long as their...

Re: Driftwood (BxG)
A very legitimate question I think people should ask before Kickstarting ANY project: Why should we entrust you with $4,000+ based on the premise of a potentially good visual novel? As they say, "potential" just means you haven't done anything yet. Do you have examples of prior games or v...
