Re: Re: [WIP] Maid of Midsummer - UPDATED JULY 13th, '11

Even though this is free, will there be any way for those of us who'd like to support you with money to donate? Like will there be a paypal button of some kind? :)

Seriously, you're putting a ton of work into this.

Re: Otome games??

the thing about modding a psp is that you need to be sure you have all the correct components. It took me a VERY long time to get my psp (which I found on ebay for 60 bucks :D) hacked. The first time I tried I didn't have an official memory stick, and hard-bricked it. Make sure you have the right c...

Reading. Lots of reading. Whether in physical book format, audio book format, or on an ereader.

I do lots of reading when I'm sick. ._.

Re: Otome games??

The PSP has a lot of japanese otome games (if you are learning or know the language), but even putting those aside, it has a pretty extensive gaming library now so it'd be a worthy purchase. You can get PSP-2000's for a pretty good price, I believe my collector's edition star wars one was about $100...

Ahaha, if you think bxg is going extinct, just check sites like Jlist! They're going strong! :D

In fact, Aselia the Eternal is a very good one that came out recently.

Re: (P)lanets 2 - the life of happiness has started! [otome]

Ah, i know what otaku means, yes. xD That was just a rather joking caption that I put on my blog. I won't refer to Yusa as an otaku in the actual game. He likes manga and dating games more than the average person [enough so that you could probably consider him an otaku of those things] but calling ...

Re: Most Underrated VN List

I think the problem for otome games in general is a lot of people will look at flash dating sims and games like Tokimeki Memorial: Girl's Side and think that that is all the genre is. While both are a lot of fun in their own ways, they have very little in the way of plot. Tokimemo is basically just ...

Re: Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

As if I need an excuse to play it more. 8)

In fact, I've been randomly playing Corpse Party at the same time, so this game keeps me from freaking out too much and from getting nightmares.

Re: Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. Managed to get two character's routes done (Jacob then Steve), and I think I'll finish Ryan and Trent's before I send another email. Great job all around, I liked so many different parts of this game. :D If you're still figuring out something to do for the gardeni...

Re: Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

Snowstorm scene? I've heard people mention that but I thought it was specific to Ryan... I've never seen that yet. Weird, I thought Jacob's stats were primary empathy, secondary dedication. I think the hint said something like that, but I could be misremembering... Derp. Oh! I already mentioned it i...

Re: Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

... I'm actually laughing at myself because I haven't failed this hard at a VN in a long time XDDDD Either I manage to get the relationship bar filled up (and presumably see all the scenes), or I manage to get my stats up high enough. I can't seem to manage to do both at the same time. orz I've comp...

No, it launches fine, it's just that there is no picture for the shortcut. It shows up as the default white window.

Re: Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

Making up a report with stuff to send.... who should I send it to? It's mostly some typos, but there were some issues of sprites appearing a bit odd (at one point Ryan's sprite appears offcenter during your talk with him, then it snaps back into place when the shop window comes up), and the game ico...
