Re: MiniBot! Looking for Feedback!

HI! I've played your game AND REALLY ENJOYED!!! Well...maybe too much. This is my "fan" effort. In fact I'm REDRAWING everything from scratch with some BG art, just fur fun, but results are cute. How about a "new edition"? The code could be the same, I think is perfect (you can r...

Re: showing and hiding screens from inside other screens

You can't show or hide the same screen inside the definition. Show act for ANOTHER screen (so Ren'py search for ANOTHER NoteBookIcon screen). The problem can be solved (I think), by hiding the NoteBookIcon in the Notebook screen. So your NoteBookIcon screen just call Ntebook screen, that hide the No...

Re: Ren'Py Gripes

Ren'py lack a "pushed" style for buttons and bars. I know, it's just a little quirk, but I would really enjoy a further Ren'py release where the interactive elements can have this kind of behaviour. Like in Flash and Actionscript, where you can define a button/bar, with an image for the &q...

Re: Your favorite character types/personalities

Well, first of all sorry for my poor english knowledge. The best chara I know is the "cold one" (usually with glasses) that discover her emotional side. I don't know why, maybe is for my personal experience...But the raising of emotions from a cold soul (everyone of us has experienced this...

Re: buttons behaviour

something similar. But I think it must involve some Class rewrite to apply at all buttons (without a jump to labels for everyone of them). But you got it: buttons that change state while mouse is pressed over them (and until release).
However THANK YOU for your reply!!!!

buttons behaviour

How to add to image buttons a 'flash-like' behaviour?
I mean: a no focused status, a focused status and a 'on-click' status, with a little wait for reaction? It would improve greatly my interfaces.
I'm not so skilled in Python (and English too...)
Thanks from Italy
