Re: Most strange reason to stay away from lemmasoft
Thanks Koveras your words seems so wise and true. But it's sad that there's only 3 options though. It would been great if there's a 4th option which is remain uncorrupted while leaving everyone else to make decision for themselves. If that's the case then the uncorrupted person won't be threatened ...

Re: Most strange reason to stay away from lemmasoft
I wonder if being threatened with death is just a normal way to treat people that does not want to be corrupt. Pah, don't think much about it. It's just the way human society works: you either adapt yourself to it (i.e. become corrupted when everyone already is), or you are killed (physically or me...

Re: How to make one script document end and begin another one
I have a related question. ^^; How do I register multiple source file for compilation in the first place? Is there a central registry like a make-file? Or do I have to include all additional scripts to the default file like in PHP? I went through the documentation (fleetingly) but only saw a mention...

Re: Average reading speed?
Hmm. So, basically, I just stick with my favorite value and let the player configure their own reading speed in the preferences if needed?

Average reading speed?
I was experimenting with the config.default_text_cps and figured out that for me, the optimal value is about 29 characters per second. But I got curious what values (if any) other people used for their projects. In other words, is there such a thing as optimal average character per second speed?

Re: Most strange reason to stay away from lemmasoft
We are still working on the issue of getting a secure internet connection down into Samu-kun's basement, which is probably why Pytom still haven't commented on his current situation here yet. Or maybe he's currently learning to pilot a mecha to fight off those aliens. I heard he might be the Chosen ...

Re: Most strange reason to stay away from lemmasoft
Man, you have a serious problem. I mean your legs. Have you at least got splints on them after you broke them? What if the become infected?
And to my knowledge, Pytom managed to escape arrest somehow. Dunno how that happened, though.

Koveras: What a paradoxical sig given your project  It's all part of Their plan. But I can't talk much about it, They are monitoring me... ;) Actually, I wrote the quickstart. The tutorial was by a friend of mine. Well, if your friend ever comes to Germany, tell him to contact me, I know a co...

Unconditional exit to main menu?
I've browsed the wiki and the forum for a bit but haven't found the answer I was looking for... don't throw heavy things at me if this looks stupid to you. ^^ The story is this: I'm writing a VN where the protagonist dies if the player makes a false decision, and I want to return to the main menu af...

Hi, my name is Koveras, I'm a software developer in training, currently studying IT in Germany. I'm presently working on a conspiracy theory-themed VN powered by Ren'Py, so I decided to join the forum in case I need some technical support. :) EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention: whoever wrote the Ren'Py W...
