Re: Brown vs EMA
Don't people have common sense anymore? That is a tricky question. For example, there are probably a lot of people who think it is inappropriate to design video games where the premise is to rape someone. Would that qualify as common sense? No one can deny that the act of rape appears in other form...

Re: Illegal drawings?
While it may sound absurd to those of us who have grown accustomed to seeing certain types of imagery portrayed in animation and games from Japan, there are a lot of people who know nothing about it. The employees at the border are not lawyers or philosophers; they merely question and inspect traffi...

Re: IDEA: Using Ren'py with Flash
Yes, Flash is a powerful development tool. With my limited knowledge I can only think of two ways that Flash could be used with Ren'Py games: a. incorporating the Flash Player or Flash Lite - proprietary applications that allow you to view multimedia published under their file format - into the Ren'...

Re: Word Minimum
However, "A Tale of Two Cities" curbstomps the very best short story. It should be noted that Charles Dickens did not publish that novel all at once. In fact, as Wikipedia notes: As noted above, most of Dickens's major novels were first written in monthly or weekly installments in journal...

Re: Word Minimum
Now I'd really like someone to prove me wrong because I'm sure there are stories I haven't read that are under this word count. What about the short story ? Creative writing teachers would probably recommend their students to practice writing good short stories before attempting an epic. Many short...

She does have a nice voice. :0 Wonder what you would sound like singing Ayumi Hamasaki songs. Someone is recruiting a voice actress in the recruitment thread, just so you know.Holy cow you have a pretty voice <333
And yes, I like to shatter some windows every now and then. ;]

Re: PQRS the Game
I like it. How long did it take you to write the script? You have a good grasp of English, although I suspect it may not be your first language. The dialogue is well written, in my opinion; it is not difficult to follow and you can feel the personalities of each character through their words. You co...

Re: Faery Tale ~ A Romantic Fantasy Visual Novel
Very well done. You must be quite familiar with your photo-editing application(s). You applied their tools and features in creative ways that complement or enhance the visual impact of the story. It is evident that you put some thought into composing your scenes and the results are excellent. No com...

Re: News: New Low-End Netbook
Sorry for getting off track because this does not have anything to do with net books but does anyone know if Ren'Py games run on the iPad and/or iPhone? If it could bundled/exported as an 'app', studios who have commercial games could open up another potential market. Granted any text will probably ...

Re: Always Remember Me (VN/Life sim, commercial)
Played the demo and I liked it a lot. To me the overall system seemed to work much better than Spirited Heart - maybe it has to do with the additional sprites used to complement actions. Seeing the main character smile when they succeed or look abashed when they fail evokes a much stronger response ...

Re: Anton's Vacation {Episode One}
Hi. Overall I liked it. One of the few that I played from beginning to end. Well, one ending, anyway. Congratulations to you and studio(s) involved. I did not mind the humor - it was refreshing for me. My stories always go overboard with the drama and it never ends well. To me, the tone was lighthea...
