Re: Diamond Rose [Kinetic][RPG][Fantasy][NaNoRenO2016]
Thanks for the review. I just read it and I just wanted to explain this one thing: Also, the characters don’t have levels here, so fighting the monsters don’t reward you with EXP, which, in other games, could increase HP and SP—not to mention, it could also increase the player’s motivation to actual...

Re: Diamond Rose [Kinetic][RPG][Fantasy][NaNoRenO2016]
Thanks a lot for the feedback guys! It's been a while since I've touch this game because of a million other stuff so I can't promise an immediate fix for the issues right now. But I really appreciate you guys trying it out and leaving feedback! I'm glad you guys liked it ^_^ How do I save? When I wa...

Re: To Libertad [Kinetic][Fantasy][YuriJam2016]
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game ^_^ I suppose the ending is a bit hasty, given that they only knew each other for a few days. But I think saving each other, especially from death (and from the shackles of her past for Martha) makes you feel that way. I like to think that Martha ju...

Re: CG in visual novels - Too many or too few?
As a player, I like having plenty of CGs, but I think adding too many could be a negative. CGs are good for highlighting key emotional and plot moments, and too many could diminish the impact. On top of that, sprites may be less special than CGs, but watching characters switch expressions and poses...

Re: Full time developers
I'm doing it full-time right now but it may change in the future, or at least until my funds run out haha (though I can always freelance to amass funds.)
I really do enjoy doing this though and I find that I'm a much happier person doing this than any other work. :3

Re: What music to listen to while drawing?
Music is such an important factor in getting art done for me. I get cranky when there's no background noise going on while I'm drawing. I think the reason is a lot of the work is mechanical (flick of pen, brush strokes, clicking something, etc) - they're not 'brain-intensive' operations, that's why ...

Hey Zelan thanks for the comment! Yeah I like working with Zetsubou so I'm working with him in my future projects as well.
And yes, this story is set in the same world as Diamond Rose ^_^

Re: How do YOU organise your characters?
I have one file for each character and the files are organized in folders mainly Main characters and Side characters. Here's how I structure my character profile sheet. Note that I'm working with a writer so I think organizing stuff and making it more readable is important (and I also just like orga...

Re: Is it normal for a drawing tablet to be like this?
A friend of mine actually know someone who uses it on win10. He said that it should work when used the most recent driver from online. It could be worth a try. ;w; Ah, thanks for correcting! The official website should really reflect that, it's such a good product and it's misleading to people who ...

Re: Is it normal for a drawing tablet to be like this?
Man I remember that tablet (it was my first drawing tablet :P). I can see the driver is installed but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to support Windows 10 according to the official product page.

Re: Background Artist for Hire! [CLOSED]
@RotGtIE - Thanks for the kind words! Working on Deirdre: My Blade allowed me to grow (and still grow) so much as an artist. Joining the project was definitely the right choice! @King-sama - I don't mind, please do! And thanks a lot, it's nice to hear that I inspire someone. Keep up the good work ^_^b

Re: Drew's Improvement Process [Critique More Than Welcome]
I think I understand; I was trying to de-saturate and blend as the objects become removed from the POV, but looking at things on my drive to work this morning, light/colour doesn't really work like I though it did. I see it in references but I think I'm misunderstanding what is happening in these p...

Re: Drew's Improvement Process [Critique More Than Welcome]
Hey, thought I'd drop by and give some pointers. Muddy Values: The problem here is that the colors and values you're using are so close to each other that there is not enough distinction between them. Be deliberate in choosing colors. Use cooler and darker values for shadows/outlines, and use lighte...
