Re: Hints upon death

Actually, I was going to implement a similar feature in collective , only, instead of giving them to you upon death, they're given to you right away, albeit subtly. For example, close to the end of the game, you find a new potential lead, and you have the option to discuss it with one of your online...

Re: Main character's job/pastime/role

Technically, my characters don't need to be in high school, but I decided it'd be better that way, just to provide them with a convenient excuse to know each other and interact with a variety of new people. The two exceptions are online love interests which makes high school not such a big deal, see...

Re: your fetish?

Small, thin girls. Oh, but only if they have attractive faces... Faces are a big thing with me. It doesn't matter what your body's like, as long as you have a nice face, imo. ; v ;

Pretty much. They're all slightly different, of course, but not worth watching every episode for.

Except for this part, of course.

Re: Teacher Student relationships

Yes, it's quite unfortunate. *sigh* I hope one day that these stupid gender stereotypes will be dropped... probably in favor of new ones that are just as stupid. orz Now imagine that happening in real life, with the student in question being about a girl of about twelve. GYAAAAAAH Dear lord! That's ...

Re: Teacher Student relationships

. _ . Wat're you talking about. All Teenage guys wish their attractive teachers had the hots for them. Still doesn't make it any less creepy. Also, now that I think about it, I'm significantly less freaked out about female teacher/female student relations... and I really don't know why. ; w ; It's ...

Re: School set VNs too redundant?

I guess the main thing is that even though the MC goes to school every day (except for the weekend, of course), the bulk of the story takes place outside of school, exploring the Internet and the city you reside in. Does that still count as being "set at a school"?

Re: Teacher Student relationships

Have you seen the funny pictures of the guys who played Fred and George in the harry potter movies with their NO TWINCEST signs? :) Pfft, that sounds hilarious. xD But yeah, I agree that it is a bit of a double standard to say that Male teacher/Female student is a complete tragedy, while Female tea...

Re: School set VNs too redundant?

In my current project, collective, the setting changes based on whether you are male or female. If you're male, you're an American high school student (a freshman, to be exact), that ends up spending most of his time on the computer or roaming Seattle, investigating the recent influx in suicides. If...

Hehe, tbh, I've quite enjoyed some good twincest in my time... it's just when you bring those characters to life is when it starts to bother me. Once I start to see characters as, um... "semi-people", things that would disgust me irl disgust me in-game.

Sure! I need as many resources as I can get (although I think I found someone that'll work just fine).

Re: How far is too far?

Maybe 16 endings is a bit much...? Unless you're planning on working on this game for years, anyway. Maybe impose a limit on the amount of endings you will allow your game to have, and then decide which ones will be good and which ones will be bad. It's not necessarily a bad thing to have a bunch of...

Re: How far is too far?

I'm concerned about this as well for my game. In it, there's a chance to go off on something of a tangent with your research and investigate a cult that's sprung up. However, if you decide to go down that path, you end up missing a vital piece of information, as the person who gives it to you ends u...

Re: Teacher Student relationships

Student-teacher relationships squick me the hell out. As does incest and, well... pretty much any imbalanced relationship with one having control over the other (as dictated by society, like doctor-patient, master-slave, etc). It was incredibly difficult for me to go through with the Ariana-Rook rou...
