Re: Anatomy Studies, Week 1: Human Proportions (Skeletal)
@hiko27: Thanks for more pictures from your instructor, LOL. If it's fine with you/if you think your teacher would be fine with it, I'd like to add it to list of refs for the next week (which is planned to be muscles+skin). Niiice. When I first decided to look at an actual skull, I was pretty surpr...

Re: Les Contes de Magie: Marie Lévesque [Otome|Fantasy]
@Laniessa: Thanks!!! \ o / sasquatchii: Thanks you!! I'm happy you like the GUI, since I'm pretty bad at it, hee. :p Yeah, different types of magics! Pretty much the standard at the moment (MC is Alchemy, Antoine is White/Healing, Corentin is Summoning). I'm really hoping to add more characters int...

Re: Kiwi's Art Thread! [Critique and Requests!]
I really like how you did the shading here! Just wanted to point out a few things though: * The shading on her belly (area around her bellybutton) looks strange. Rather than protruding outward, the shading makes it look like an indent. * Boobs look too far apart? I think the shading makes the boob l...

Re: Trying to make the equivalent of a pop up alert
Have you tried the notify function? (http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/other.html#renpy.notify) I think it stays on screen for a couple of seconds before disappearing.
You can also modify the notification screen here: http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/screen_sp ... tml#notify

Re: Anatomy Studies, Week 1: Human Proportions (Skeletal)
Niceee! I haven't done my part to this mostly cause I got so busy, but will do it when I can. Anyways, you could think of the hipbone as a butterfly shape instead. Also, the skeleton on the lower right, is it from the front or back? Either way, the spine looks really weird? It's probably because it...

Re: Cycling through backgrounds on a screen with buttons. Ho
I believe it should be:
Code: Select all
action SetScreenVariable("cur_screen_num", curr_screen_num+1)
# BTW, it's curr_screen_num+1 when you're handing in a value, the +=1 only works when doing assignment like:
# curr_screen_num = 1
# curr_screen_num += 1

Re: z04's art dump
I just wanted to point out that in the left picture, it looks like the left sleeve's pink part isn't shaded (or not shaded the same way as the white part)? Otherwise, it's a really nice looking drawing, really loving the shading on it. (Especially the back!!)

UHHHH it's a good thing I put that disclaimer of me being sleepy up there, hahahha. I meant to post in your thread a couple of days ago, but I either forgot until too late at night (which is what happened here anyway), or was too busy to do so. :( - BG: Wooops, sorry, I entirely forgot that pillar w...

So, if you look at one of the cropped pieces, you can see this: (I left comments in the code to explain it a bit more.) drag: drag_name "02 piece" child im.Crop("ShizukaClassroom_0001.jpg", 240,0, 120, 207) droppable False dragged piece_dragged xpos piecelist[2][0] ypos piecelist...

Re: hiko27's Art Thread (critiques and requests welcome!)
crit001: - Too angular shift in the sweater between chest to hips. - Legs look awkwardly pressed against each other. Perhaps would look more natural to have them slightly spread apart. Or could be because the knees have a weird sort of perspective to them. (?) - Because of the sweater+skirt, create...
