Re: Simple RPG Battle Framework A.K.A Sheepstorm
Going into PEP8 actually requires a lot of practice lol. It feels kinda odd to keep looking at the specs while coding fresh script. Version 1 is coming up late lol. Gonna split the auto-position a.k.a KanColle style positioning into a plug-in or separate altogether. http://img1.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/...

Re: Simple RPG Battle Framework A.K.A Sheepstorm
I never really bothered with coding styles. Welp. I'll try to make a rework if I have the time. Thanks.

Maybe on newer versions. I plan on changing the license though, that's for sure. I'm just keeping it NC because it's not mature yet.Bryy wrote:Will download and try out. No commercial license?

Re: Idol Manager [business sim, dark comedy]
The new UI is like optimized for mobile builds. I really love it. Also, the new color scheme is much more aesthetic than the previous windows metro-ish colors.

you might want to fix the transform itself, like yanchor 1.0Zeekee wrote:The yalign didn't work. I've been spending hours on this and I can't seem to figure out how to ground them properly...

Re: Help with Pricing?
Did you take a look at what other artists are pricing in the recruitment forums? See what they're offering, see how they price them, think about what you want/are able to offer and whether you're able to stay on a VN project in the long term. I will say that 5 USD is way too cheap though. Don't wor...

Re: Why so many unfinished VN?
http://i.imgur.com/p5ypR7w.png I don't know anymore. Well, I just summed up my thoughts into this hideous picture. Sometimes I think that a lot of projects just begin spontaneously. Edit: I should have included personal stability (income, personality, schedules, relationships) and time under the de...

Re: Why so many unfinished VN?
Yeah, it'd be hard implement that here. An "apprenticeship" system like that would tax the community a bit both in time and $$$. Might as well interfere with older developers' individual projects. I don't believe in just being motivated though... maybe discipline needs to play a larger rol...

Re: Why so many unfinished VN?
Oh that was rather idealistic of me. Oh yeah, a welcoming environment. Good luck new devs. Speaking of interest, maybe projects just die off because there's a lack of interest from the community, and the market in your idea... then it just creeps out on a often optimistic dev that it will never happ...

Re: Why so many unfinished VN?
Why not have batches of newcomers make a small game together, preferably with an older member, with a set deadline? Maybe this is the middle ground between blatant spoonfeeding and just leaving them on the FAQs or something... Maybe this will root out weak devs and leave the stronger ones to finish ...

Re: Why so many unfinished VN?
Inb4 some people would just use game jams to jumpstart their game project, with the assumption that they're going to continue with it afterwards. Hmm, did this year's Nano produce more finished games (of course it did in totality, but how about for that month alone?), or just more unfinished games? ...

Re: Clothes Design - How do you do it?
I actually buy back-issue or used fashion magazines from used bookstores. There's also occasional fantasy and steampunk drawing books so yeah. I avoid using online resources though, except for clothing terms.
