Murder can be justified in some cases. Rape cannot. Therefore I have a lot less tolerance for rape than for murder, even though the latter is the "bigger" crime. I don't find violence inherently interesting. If a story needs violence, by all means put it in. However, excessive violence is ...

How about this: the mouse cursor is only visible when the mouse has been moved at least once in the previous 10 seconds. Can anybody think of a situation in which this might not be desirable?
